This is for those that want to compare the I7 vs Phenom II.
These test are from the actual users who use these processors.
PLZ if you dont have a I7 or PII dont start flaming this thread.
keep it Clean!
Post the Benches/games/programs you want to be seen and i will post in here.
Show a CPU-Z of the clocks being used on that particular test

Programs:
3DMark06
x264 benchmark
wprime
Cinebench
Everest Memory Bench
CPU-Z
GPU-Z

Encoding!!!!

got my highest Mark06...

No it was different.... i think it was 940 benchmarks or othr.... sorry im still looking.... all i know is i needed to install like 3 programs just to run it

I'm guessing something like avisynth, ffmpeg and/or mencoder?

Thats With TWO? Im sorry Bro lol!!!!:rockout:

its cool need to update my system specs
going to do a dice run on the 940/foxconn on sunday if everything goes right

Yeah lets settle this, HD Encoding benchmark for CPU comparison only. No CPU scores from 3D06 or Vantage.
Download here:

Download both the x264 benchmark and AviSynth 2.5.7 and run from the HD Benchmark file.

A single benchmark will go four runs with 2 passes each and at the end spit out a notepad document with your results:

That was at 3.66GHz, XP sp3, who wants a 4.0 run? :D

I'll add that link to the first post

You want a comparisons between CPU's and you wish to see what GPU-Z and 3Dmark have to say about that? How about actual CPU benchmarks? wPrime, Sandra (CPU+memory), everest's memory benchmark, rightmark, etc.
Most games won't tell you much, unless you run them with swiftshader.

I will add more benchmarks as needed
I just put those down for now

I think some people want to see game benches since most of us play them

i'm in what do ya'll want posts off of and how about some sciencemark numbers?

good idea
right now were getting all the benchmarks so we can start

Can you post a link to the sciencemark dl?
