Gainward or Palit?

So i have an interesting choice, im buying 2xGTX260+ 1792mb, and the 2 brands on offer are Gainward and Palit, check out the links, and vote for your choice.

I don't know for Palit, but I have made good experience with Gainward GPUs. Especially with their cooling solutions.

both are same card. Gainward is owned by Palit. by whatever is cheaper. Palit owns many sub brands

hmm, interesting. gainward is the most familiar name to me, but since palit is the name i've been hearing the most lately, i voted for the palit. 10 beans less, too!

well considering they are exactly the same, i went with the ones that were in stock :laugh:

they happened to be the Gainward Golden Sample ones, ive always wanted a Gainward card, they've always looked good and had interesting looking custom models.

Couple years ago Palit bought Gainward. So it is the same card.

What does it matter who owns who ? Sapphire and Zotac are owned by the same corporation, so what ? They make different products, they have different R&D staff and different people in general. That they are owned by the same corporation means nothing.

I vote for Gainward.

zotac makes NV sapphire makes ATI cards. Yeah that is different. This is not the same.

It is the same here as well. Unless 2 companies merge into 1 they have nothing in common and Gainward with Palit have nothing in common.

I voted for Gainward i love the cooling they use on there cards, not saying palit has bad coolers, there also very goood, eg the 4870X2 from both are great coolers. I just like the black finish on Gainward cards more so hehe. Isnt Gainward German owned?
