I really do hate the windows 7 themed stuff :ohwell: The paint, movie maker and all the other programs that are coming out have terrible GUI's imo :(

Office 2007 already has a color selector between blue, silver, and black. No matter which Office program you're in, click on the Office symbol on the upper left hand side of the window and select "(Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, whichever) Options." From there you should see "Color Scheme" where you can change your color. Too bad there are only those three to choose from, but it's better than nothing.

I agree, and find OpenOffice.Org to be an amazing FREE alternative.

+1

open office is completely free and open source as aposed to ms office
and i just think ms and gone the Apple way (to simplify everything) with ms office 2007+
its good but just too simple and sort of makes the user feel stupid.

i have had to do many rollbacks from office 2007 to office 2003 with many of my clients just because "jumping from 2003 to 2007 make the end user fell incompetent with their publishings"

I personally dont really care for the ribbon style stuff in Office 2007, but as far as the Windows 7 GUI goes, i love it.
