I would wait. Nvidia will be releasing there's soon and this might help to drop the price. It is not like they are going anyplace and they will only get better from here.

They gave more cards to test at launch this time.

If you grab a 5 series ATi I suggest getting an aftermarket cooler at the same time. I believe there is software voltage control available for a higher OC with adequate cooling. And buy one with a decent warranty. Thats my advice, take it or leave it.

this has nothing to do with fanboyism. if nvidia has launched an amazing product and amd's ceo showed some vaporware i'd say the same. i believe in price/performance (performance being more than just fps)
