Just get the 4650 man. The older agp card's aren't reall worth it.

Fx5700 will play all those. Still not worth it but whatever find a cheap agp card on craigslist or ebay.

I think, that the HD-Series is gonna be slowed down caause of my P4.
And I believe, that a x800PRO performs well better than a FX5700.
And both cost about the same! :toast:

It's not worth it, man! Just buy or build a new PC already, keep your old one for nostalgia value if you must.

Maybe it's just me, but I will only feel like a real g4m3r when I have a computer like Fit's, or thereabouts, with some 6 screens, surround sound, a good mouse and keyboard, a conformable chair with adjustable arm rest, a snack & beverage dispenser and nothing else to do for a whole year...

How the hell can you get a good gaming experience from TMNF on a 9250?! I did it in a 9200SE and it looked like crap! Older games could look better. Even on very low settings I'd get like 25 or so FPS, but the game looked sooo bad...

Runns @ 31FPS avg!
If u check out 1 of my veidos, u can c, that I run CoD2 of higher settings perfectly!

Still, it shouldn't be that much. And I did play it @ 1280x960, which might explain the low FPS. That game is more CPU bound than graphics anyways... :shadedshu

Anything fater than a 2GHz P4 would be too much for that thing.

Nope man, sorry. It was an Athlon XP (2400+ at that time, I think). Or was it still the Pentium 3? Damn, can't remember. Either way, they're slower than that Pentium 4.

Also, if you are indeed getting a Radeon, try getting a x1650XT. It's way better than a x800, has support for DX9.0c (unlike the x800, that supports only DX9.0b) and faster clocks. It's not 256-bit, but at that resolution, you won't even notice the difference.

Just built an x1650 based rig for a friend one a budget and its not faster than a x800 at all none of the reviews say it was and none of the overclockers do.

Built that for $50 why not look for something s939 like that pcie still use your ddr and hdds? Could start small with an athlon and x1600 (still huge improvement) and later on those boards are cheap to run 2gb of dddr and a dual core x2 3800

.... I'm not even sure what that is, but I didn't have to mod my board to get my x6 running at 3.64 ghz.

Yep!

The boards limit was originaly 3.06GHz!
The OC mod allows you to go up to P4 Extream Edition + Hyper Threading!
Back then, when I got it, spend my whole savings on this board!
Thats, why im so stuck on it!
