This "method" is the truth w/v=a or a*v=w the max amps that he can draw from is 4x12v rails is 50amps no more but each rail can't go over their max which is 18a & one at 20a
I've edit my post #23 since i use "*" instead of "/" but fix now...
yeah we mean the same thing really. both of us just took shortcuts explaining it.
my point is that while they're justified in how they rate it legally and there is an explanation behind it, they're still overrating it. to me thats worrying, because it means they're trying to make it sound like the PSU can do more than it really can.
its a no name brand thats stretched their ratings as far as they can to claim the wattages they have... and thats not something i'd put a 5870 on, let alone a 6950.
