giants can deal a lot of damage to dragons tho, but some random imperial escort team get raped sometimes lol, at least they can still inflict damage so i can finish the dragon off.

I find the soldier attempting to give a hand more of a nuisance than a help.

At one stage there was a lynch mob which I was supposed to tag along with, instead I sprinted ahead of them, took a short cut, beat them to the cave and took out the baddies myself.

Leave the cave to find they are standing around outside waiting for me.

I let them go ahead, but once they reached the outside of the cave they'll wait for me. I told them to go back and not risk it, so they left.

Because of what I did, I was not given the dialogue option and they stayed there over night.

I killed everyone in the cave and the quest ended, but Alva is still alive and has gone back to her duties as a barmaid at Dawnstar

go to her home during the day wait for her to enter the basement, once you enter shell attack you kill her and that ties up the loose ends.

That's how they are most of the case in my game. There'd be all the soldiers shooting arrows at it, my character would be jumping and fus-ro-dah'ing and the dragon ignores me lol

All the talk around Skyrim and especially the videos posted make me wanna grab a copy SO badly. Unfortunately I am quite stubborn and just seeing how the interface works gives me cramps. Do you think there is any hope for some sort of revamp in a future patch or something?

There are mods that can change the user interface.

That is wishful thinking, your best chance are mods. Anyhow UI isn't really something to worry about when you're playing a great game such as this, you can make it smoother by disabling gamepad support or play with a gamepad.

That's how they are most of the case in my game. There'd be all the soldiers shooting arrows at it, my character would be jumping and fus-ro-dah'ing and the dragon ignores me lol

Dragons sometimes ignore the character for quite a while until you actually hit it or they are close enough to see you which is unpredictable.
I find it annoying when they spawn right over a city and kill some characters that shouldn't really be killed.

Hold out till the next patch comes out to hopefully resolve the quest bugs which are noted on nearly all platforms.

Any mods out there that depict exit wounds when you have stabbed someone through their chest/body? It looks a bit crap when there's no blood seeping out of the exit wound.

They had to keep the gore to a certain level so the critics or whatever they are called who give out the age restriction could place the aimed inital age bracket on the game which is R13 over here.

In the opening scenes a man has his head decapitated.....I'm sure an extra bit of blood as you are stabbing them through their chest wouldn't have pushed the boundaries of censors

What's even more annoying was what happened to me earlier. It fled to the south of Morthal...then I went south, looking for the dragon but it no longer registers in my compass. Then I go back to Morthal and it landed on the NORTH side of the city/town! WTF??? I followed it until it suddenly disappeared from the compass (and the screen) to the south, but when I go back to the town the dragon was already on the north side???

2.01 Patch for PS3 fixed the lag PS3 players were complaining of.

But also reduced the textures even more.
