You incited some impressively long news threads :toast:. (And did that not manage to interest some people in news they would otherwise not read?)

Indeed. That gets lots and lots of page hits for TPU and their advertisers, but that doesn't seem to matter to some people.

Yeah, whatever. I can help some other site make money that appreciates my talents more.

same thing happened to me... hence why i stopped doing reviews. :) that and the management didnt like the angle i had with my reviews. whatever though.

lolz sad to see you go Qubit i enjoyed the flame wars and constant 1 uping in your new threads the news was good the following entertainment even better. Im going to miss that, looks like gary or mailman needs to step up the awesome and entertain me instead.
 
Anything other than "bye qubit, I [verb]ed you" attracts infractions like a black hole.

i didn't ask for a flame sesh but besides that... why say "bye"? he's not leaving... he just decided to not be part of tpu staff any longer. if anything, he's giving a simple explanation of why he made his decision. others can learn from this... in what way, that's up to how you read between the lines.

qubit's a good guy and i stand behind his decision.

He is leaving from the news team. Thank you for your comprehension help. Of course he's not leaving the community.

Personally, I feel that you did a good job of drawing attention to various instances of corporate abuse, for that, you have earned my respect.
 
Because of his character, because he has been friendly and respectful toward people regardless of his status at TPU, and because of his valuable contributions to us the users of TPU, I have a stronger allegiance to and regard for qubit than I do for TPU itself. I could only say that for one other member of TPU. Only self-discipline keeps me from going further.

Thank you qubit for the things mentioned above.

all he ever did was write spin's/troll/and use questionable sources ...
and I do so love it when I am right ......
 
how long have you written news? it was less than 2 months if I remember correctly

Show some self worth, people.

Also, good luck with your future endevours, Qubit. Keep this in mind. Steam is not a walled garden and the First-Sale Doctrine does not apply to software yet!
 
I'm shocked to be honest, this is totally unexpected; I think you were doing a great job, your articles were different and refreshing, I'm going to miss them. Good luck in the future and all the best. :toast:
