KINGMAX Launches 8GB DDR3 Memory Modules in One Stick ; Boosting Quad Channel Memory System

this is original news title
there is no word on pricing and they didn't say that it will be affordable
so, looks like tpu news title is a little bit misleading
or i am missing something?

I thought the point of press releases is that they are well written...

You are right, the title is misleading unless a single 8GB ram does Quad Channel.

Kingmax is still around? Wow. I bought some of their memory back in the day. At the time it was one of the few with a special red PCB. Was good stuff then. Just finally gave it away last week to a friend who needed some old RAM for a system.

they use blue chip or its just shiny?

I think those are supposed to be fancy mini-heat spreaders, hence the no need for large heat sinks or spreaders on a stick of gaming/performance RAM? Maybe?
Maybe some fancy 'nano surface' with high surface area for heat dissipation?

Don't knock on Kingmax, they have solid, very reliable RAM in my experience. Just because they don't come with the latest bling, doesn't mean they can't compete.

yes dont u luv bad inglish! :p

Shouldn't be in a press release, that's for sure.
