I wouldn't run any kind of chemicals through plated Nickel. If you have to, you could get stuff from EK:
https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-ekoolant-evo-clear-premix-1
Even then, I'd probably mix half the bottle with distilled/ionized water.
The EK coolant freezes at -3 :-(
or it would be perfect
Jesus took you long enough to RE read post 4 and discover i posted that
and again contact HINT Go to link and Contact Technical Support.
They will be able to Answer your Querys
I did see it and I was trying to get my head around it by remembering the different glycols (sorry)
T-35IP – Tolyltriazole in Isopropyl Alcohol << too corrosive
T-40DG – Tolyltriazole in Diethylene Glycol << bad thermal conductivity
T-35PG – Tolyltriazole in Propylene Glycol << causes "gunk" in coolant
the one I needed is the only one not listed lol (which is probably why its so hard to find online, if it even exists)...
but yeah good idea i'll try contacting them
only they do seem like the kind of company that only deals with (or talks to) other companies, not individual members of the public.... i'll try..
T-#### –Tolyltriazole in Ethylene Glycol << that's the one I need
After that; the liquid electrical tape, die-electric grease, some good armaflex and then open the chiller up and try and see how to manipulate the thermostat and then i'll be well on my way to 24/7 -20 degrees C at 1/4th of the price of one of those phase-change systems that only does CPU not CPU + GPU
Okay.. maybe not quite 24/7.... but I will be able to do short benches without too much upheaval..
Maybe come in from work and do a session without having to take 101 precautions while opening some £500 industrial cryo-cylindar of LN2
People think its easy with LN2, spend a few hundred on a pot, grease up the CPU and the other one or two other things u regularly see and hear about online but what they don't say is that the special "legal" container (much like how u need to have a legal container to fill diesel in) to have a company even consider delivering to you, is probably thousands of pounds. and its not something u can exactly keep about the house.. lol
I'd be happy with -20 on the chiller,
for now
