Worked on my XFX RX480 GTR RX-480P8DFA6. I did not have any issues with display port not working. I also flashed back to stock and back to modified to make sure all was well.

good job. check out my first post if you have any stability issues. i go over a custom fan curve and how to get the card stable.

mind sharing the model of card you have and asic quality?

you need to force it.

atiwinflash -f -p 0 path/to/bios.rom

or if it's not the first card, adjust 0 accordingly. Will need elevated permissions.

Posting some experience..

My XFX RS 480, flash the rx580 bios, no tweaking, and its completly stable, just had to create a new fan curve, ands its rock solid!

I dont touch anything else in msi after burner... BTW, how can i check vrms temps in this gpu?

I just flashed it manually with the Zip Tools provided in first post and it works fine. I have same card and tested in so many ways.

Not much coverage or love for this el-cheapo RX480 from Powercolor I've got here. Single fan 4GB model https://goo.gl/qbXH9L

I got lucky on this, was on a crazy deal $220 CAD with MIR so about $209 CAD, anyways mine clocks in at 1350MHz/2250MHz (core/ram) and I can undervolt it at those clocks.

No one has supported this card in terms of any bios modifications.

It has a max power limit of +5%, but it doesn't seem to suffer from it, and can draw a lot of power.

Anyone wanna show some love for this card, and offer some support? Would be pretty cool, ultimate budget performance card, in terms of RX480s.

the rx580 i believe will have a 4gb variant that should be able to flash onto your card. its just a waiting game until a bios surfaces with similar memory as yours.

Can I ask where did you find the BIOS you used for the new Sapphire RX 580 Nitro+ Limited Edition? I am also looking for a 4GB variant but on the Sapphire web page I do not even see the one you used...

the link is on the top of the first page. i dont think the 4gb bios is available as of yet.

I believe if this BIOS from Nitro+ LE worked for XFX card I should deffinitely try with my 480 Nitro+ 4GB (when some new BIOS show up).

@OP, can I ask what lvl of fps-improvement have you observed in Witcher 3 after flashing this new bios (more-less)?
