You're on the same boat I was when I got my current GPU.. You're really only limiting what games you play if you're after the "stress my gpu pls" games since you've got it stuck that pushing it hard is the greatest thing ever. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
Honestly, just enjoy the prettier graphics or higher FPS, or even the worry-less state of mind that you don't have to check system requirements on games as much/at all. Yes a new GPU is cool and all but it's not worth the "big, hard, stressful games" mental limitations.
