its direct from what i understood. They said to go and download from GOG after i claimed a game.

The GOG ones are generally redeem codes. The EGS ones require account linking.

Amazon games has a launcher but the EGS and GOG games are from the respective stores/launchers.

You redeem a code at GOG.com and then decide if you want to use the direct download links or use a client (Galaxy, Heroic, you name it).
