Interest in Foldathons?

A week long folding competition is taking place at the end of the January between a few teams. If you guys are interested in joining, you should post in the thread over at HardOCP. Last year, there was an open invite for any team that wanted to participate... Not sure about this year.

@phill I went ahead and entered TPU as a team into the competition. We don't need to do anything other than keep folding for TPU.

I've adapted the stats site we were using at ExtremeHW to support multiple teams. We are planning to use that during the competition for more frequently updated stats. Final standings will be determined by EOC stats.

In about 90 minutes, a 3-day test of the stats will begin if anyone wants to see what it looks like: https://ehwfoldingstats.lazypenguin.com/23
Full details about stats for the competition can be found here: https://hardforum.com/threads/2025-6th-annual-folding-challenge-jan-24-31.2038812/post-1046035037

The competition begins in about 9 days and runs from Jan 24 10AM PST - 31st 10AM PST.

From pututu, one of the competition organizers:

Realtime monitoring stat added (every 5 or 10 mins): https://ehwfoldingstats.lazypenguin.com/26 for tomorrow's challenge.
No fancy graphs, just tabulated cumulative total points since the start of the race. Final team standing will be determined using EOC team stat.
Race starts in less than a day per this countdown timer.
Please visit [H]ard|OCP challenge thread and post any comments, questions or discussions. Good luck and have fun!

Thanks for running the stats @firedfly !!

I would say yes to a fold-a-thon. I shut my rigs down for a storm thats gonna blast us, but they have proved stable, if meager.

I too would love to see a chimp hanging around eating 1st place pie. I think the Chimp Challenge is one of the best introductions to folding a website/team can have.

Later on, I will post up in the support thread to get help to really turning up my 3 1060s and one 2060.

To add: congrats to @damric on long service 15.
