Sorry for off topic, you can get rid of error by installing an older version of Galaxy(it will keep stress you with update), or use Heroic Launcher.

Or not using a Client at all, downloading the offline installer and playing the game stand-alone. That's how a lot of people do it, myself included.

The trap of convenience.
I still do collect GoG stuff and I appreciate the philosophy, but I've yet to commit to it. Steam makes library management a breeze, especially now that I'm a 'nix person (and not yet ready to go into the third party launcher gig).
In that case, I'll pass. Better end up with someone who will make use of 'em. There are more than enough database records of wasted video game ownership (or licensing, whichever).Mafia II and III are GOG, but I already have them from an earlier giveaway

We're a tad off topic, but I want to respond. I'm a bit of a retro thinker as the Start Menu(Open Shell) is how I organize my games. Just don't see the value of organizing all my games with an external "client" program. It's never made sense to me. That and the DRM thing.
We now return everyone to our normally scheduled topic.
