  • Got home about a half hour ago. Went to the bathroom and spent some time reading the American Legion magazine I picked up in the mail, when I got home. I just cracked a beer, hopefully I don't doze off before it's done!

just opened my 4th beer. Last year was the last time I drank 4 beers. The MN Wild had just lost to the Dallas Stars, our old team. I grew up watching the MN North Stars. The team moved to dalls, which was misery, on all counts. Anyways, I drank the 4th to commemorate a season that should not have gone to the playoffs.

This team is still paying for the contracts of two players, Parise and Suter. Unless we can do it with out that freedom in the salary cap, which would be absolutely a hard road, it's 2 more years until those contracts are done. Our talent pool, in Iowa, and in the juniors, is deep, but, until then, Go Wild!!
Ok so, here we go again, 16 hours on less than 5 hours sleep. I'll be surprised if I get anything done tomorrow, like I planned. :ohwell:
I set up the schedule for this week, one of the managers is gone, he's back for Friday. I set it up so I would work 4 shifts monday thru thur and the other Sgt,. would work the next shift, those 4 days. We would both be working 6 days but no double, 16 hour shifts. Hunky Doory, right?

So this a**hole changes the schedule and eff's us both! The other SGT. has 2 16's and then starts his 2 12's. Somebody make me understand this! My boss is taking days off because he is stressed out, can't imagine why. Thanks for looking out for us, again dip wad, dude has done nothing, in 3 years, that benefits any of us!

I am going to personally Thank him on Monday, that is if he's man enough to show his face! He's likely just going to hide in his office all day!

Yep he avoided me. Today he has training meetings, so I don't expect to see him today, either...I think the grapevine whispered in his ear, that I am pissed off at him.
Yesterday was a whole lot of nothing. Sat around in my underwear and Played Raid: Shadow Legends, all day and into the night. That's it! I took a nap around noon, woke up at 7 am, and hit the sack at 3 am. I ate half a box of Triscuit's and a handful of "Midgees" Tootsie Roll's.

Today, woke up around noon-thirty and I am still in my undies trying to think of something to do. Without my bike, to easily transport myself to anywhere, I finding it hard to remember what I did and where I went, before new Moto. I know, I will walk down, or rather up, to Key's Cafe for a late Lunch/ Early Dinner. Which will probably be a Breakfast Menu meal!

That way, all the meals are covered and they have a very fine Bloody Mary there. That is the goto dessert, after my Steak and Eggs w/ coffee. OK, Plan! Now, shower, shave and walk. Awesome, just writing it out gave me a fantastic idea!

I just check the weather, gotta know what to wear and... It's a full Moon tonight!
Well, Friday I put my bike up for Winter storage. So today was a bit sad. I had to take the Train in and a Bus back. The ride back, dropped me off on 6th and Jackson, instead of
the regular stop, across the street, due to construction. 5 blocks in the pouring rain, jeans are now in the dryer.

I don't really even care about the rain part, it's the not riding my Bike part that sucks. But, the weather is changing, here in the Great White North, and there is nothing I can do, but store my bike safely, where they will care for it. Now a days there are trickle chargers, back in the day it was a trick to keep your battery charged and safe from boiling, or freezing!

Anyways, no need to keep complaining, it's just a fact of life in these parts. It's one of those things one has to deal with, despite not liking to. Soon enough it will be cold and snowy and I will be busy surviving at the bus stop. Anywho, I need some sleep. Good Night TPU!

Had a great day out on the Bike. Hung out at a local lake /w a bottle of water and a book. Then stopped by a local Malt shop for a late lunch and a coffee chocolate malt. Then putzed around in traffic, during rush hour, to work for a 2 hour training meeting we have to attend once a year.

Asbestos training, for the 4th time...However, the presenter finished it up, almost, an hour early!! Plus, I managed to get to work 5 minutes before the coffee shop closed. So, overall, a decent day. It is so nice out, right now, I might just go back out for a ride, to nowhere. Plus, tomorrow I put the bike up for winter storage.

Might as well, it's gonna be April before I get to ride again!
Well, just got home a little while ago. My apartment was messed up, when I opened the door. Realized that they came in and replaced a smoke detector and switched out some lights in my bathroom. Oh, and they flipped all the breakers, in the process.

Can they actually do that? in the UK a landlord has no legal right to enter their tenancies without gaining the tenants permission as well as give a minimum period of notice but if the tenant is not there they cannot go inside.
OK so, just finished 2 12 hour shifts, Sat and Sun (today). Now, I have a double,16 hours, Monday. I got home 15 minutes ago, and have to be back there in less than 7 hours, I have to leave here by 6:15 am. So, good night TPU, I'll see you in about 24 hours.
I just got back from the bar, down the street, and saw a couple of friends I haven't seen for a while. That was good but, I have a 12 hour shift in the morning. So, Good Night TPU!
    :lovetpu:
I worked 56 hours in 5 days, and was a little bit low energy, today. My legs were cramping up last night, from all the walking. i slept in and then hopped on the bike. Took back roads to Woodbury, had a Pizza for lunch and watched the Grand Tourismo Movie. it was good if you like racing.

Tomorrow, Friday, I am going to Oakdale to watch Oppenheimer, at 11:15 AM, so Good Night!!

I absolutely Love, love, my new comforter. It's a dark gray and has a velvet-like outer. It's not too warm, has the right "weight" AND, it fit nicely on my bike under my bungee strap cargo net. I stayed in bed an extra half hour, I was sooooo comfy. I am completely surprised and delighted with it!:D
Ok, gonna go get some smokes, then go to Target for a new comforter. The one I have is a bit used up and isn't worth sending to the dry cleaners. The Temp dropped to 77F w/ 67% humidity, should be a pleasant ride. Oh, and rush hour should be cleared out!
Just got back from the uniform shop we use for work. I stopped at a nearby coffee shop for a spell and google mapped a different way home. Turned out that was the ticket!
Well, looks like today is going to be an indoor day, unless I make a late night run for cigarettes (most likely). If nothing else, it should cool off a little. Meanwhile, I am gonna continue to sit here, in my undies, and maybe do some reading, while the laundry runs. OK, sounds like the new plan. ;)
I am all showered and shaved, ate a late lunch, so not hungry. I have been doing some laundry, 3rd load is in the dryer. I am gonna go to the store, for a couple things, but then... It's still 90F and humid out, So, roaming around on the bike would be a sweat fest. I guess I will just stay in tonight, maybe get some Door Dash, later.

I am gonna walk the Skyway's to the store, maybe stop at the bar for a couple. I will have to walk the streets back because the Skyway's are still closing at 7. Hell, I am probably gonna miss my window, since the shirt I wanna wear is in the dryer and it is quarter to 7, now! Oh well, sweaty walk, in the near future.

Yesterday, was a nice ride to and from work. Let's hope to copy/paste it to today's ride. Well, and have a pleasant, uneventful evening, in what was once "Crazy Shit Bird" Central. More about that, another time.
Any who, I've gotta' get ready and hop on the horse.
Made it home in time! Already showered and had a couple smokes. Bike is mostly clean, wheels need some scrubbing, need to buy a brush and some aluminum polish. Until then, it'll do. Oh, it just started storming out! Half an hour earlier than predicted. Damn, it just started hailing!! Maybe big pea sized hail for the past 5 minutes, Thunder sounds cool, though!
Ive got 5 hours between now and when it's supposed to Thunderstorm. Cutting it a little tight ;) but, I think I can maybe go wash my bike and get back in time. Might be cutting it close. :fear:
