To view this case mod, go here.

Specs:
ASUS P5W DH Deluxe. Intel E6600@3500. X1900XT@XTX. 1x150Raptor system/save. 2x74Raptor Raid0. X-Fi Fatal1ty audio. 24"+19" monitor dual.

The case took about 2 months to finish. Goal was to make it as small as possible, have room for ATX MB, 4xHD and so on. Important was to get good airflow without much noise. The PSU placement posed a problem, but solved it by "inventing" an easy removal system :). Rawmaterial: Plywood, Curly birch......... http://img227.imageshack.us/slideshow/player.php?id=img227/5357/1159357090576.smil

Your casing sucks. Looks rubbish pathetic. 10 for you.

you have some nice gear there m8,10 for the gear.2 for the case.sorry

I like it very original, great gear :)

I think it looks ok, well you use it in that livingroom setting?

wtf... this is hella clean.. i want one :( now you shoulda paint it! :D

You know, I think wood would give better cooling than metal. More breathing. I would have chose something better than particle board, but I like the design. I was thinking of getting my dad to make one and that is basicly what I had in mind.

10, and this makes me want to make a new mod case.......

Wood is a good material to work with. The material i chose isn´t. Get your dad to make one? Shouldn´t you try for yourself instead? Even if the result doesn´t get perfekt there is some satisfaction to create with your hands and mind :).

thas nice!

i would worrry about heat getting trapped in there, what with what looks like noise dampening and wood (!one helluvan insulator!) and would've put another fan on the front(maybe one 80mm in front of each HDD cage set for 2 new fans, on low rpm's for low noise o course!), but it is one sweet looking case!

you mention the smallest space and still have room for full atx mobo, and i love the cubish outcome therefore! cheers!

You don't understand, my wood working skills are pathetic at best. I can change a transmission, or an engine in a car, but I tried makeing a subwoofer box once, it wasn't pretty or functional. My dad has definatly got the wood working skills.

i gave u a 10 cos it is actually a full self build case mod looks great m8 well done

:)....Ok. Maybe cars is your kind of handywork. So, maybe you fix your old mans car and he fixes a nice case to you? Good luck....

Thanks for the positive response all....

Have no problems with heat! Have 2x120 mm in front bottom with filters that throw in air. All components are really cool.

Really original and really cool, not to my personal taste, but I gotta give you credit for the originality, nice work!

......Its a box. I cant imagine its very airflow friendly either. I'm not sure what to vote this I'm gonna have to think on it a bit.

It's very original...

strange how you dont specify if you mean that in the good or bad way :p

Originality is subjective so...

true, but you dont say how that subjective influences u :p
