I know a lot of people piss'n'moan about aesthetics meaning dick but to some people they do. I'd much rather purchase RAM that has a black (or dark) PCB as opposed to gaybo generic green.

Other than the heatsink colour I don't think there is any difference between the 3x2GB 1600MHz Muskin Ridgeback RAM kit that I have and this one (also has the same CAS timings), but Christmas is approaching so I guess they have to sell something that fits in with the season.

Who gives a damn about what the PCB looks like when they perform so well. You can hardly see the PCB anyway because the memory sockets block most of it except the little tiny bit on the top sides. Gees!

These stick perform fantastic.

I've got my G. Skill Trident kit running at 6-7-6-16 at 1654MHz and I love these timings and speeds. And these sticks would look great on my Asus Rampage III Gene mobo.

This memory kit isn't very tall. The PCB they use is shorter than say what Corsair and some other companies use. So the heatspreaders don't stand as high.
