Fatal1ty-branded LGA1155 Motherboards in the Making

Quick, someone use eye socket recognition and check it against the employee databases of all major board makers. Then we'll know who's manufacturing this.

Looking at the Lotes socket, two-type cooler mounting holes, and the fact that it's the only other manufacturer with black+red scheme, I think this is EVGA.

Looks like the current generation of Asus-ROG boards. The new LGA1155 Asus-ROG boards have slightly different heatsinks.
 
I've can't recall any Fatal1crap product that I've liked but this one doesn't seem too bad.
 
You know I really want to Photoshop a dick right by Fatal1ty's face, but I know I will get banned for it.

The board looks really well made and I think it's going to be excellent.
I don't know why so many of you are crying just because it got branded with some kid's name, it could be worse :laugh:

It's a bad thing simply because either these boards will be high-priced to pay Mr Fatal1ty, or they will skimp on the parts used in it to keep the price low.


It's one or the other, and neither makes my wallet happy.

Hmmm..watched interview @ Tweaktown...not a good choice of sppokesperson, methinks. He was very unprepared.

Also, the mentioned $250 price tagtells me it may be a good board, with $50 added on for "The Man".


I'll also reserve judgement on the final product itself. It actually interests me a fair bit, as it's the features that make or break a board, IMHO.

board looks nice yes, lets hope it will perform better than it looks, but again, its ASRock, when did they ever made exceptional performing boards
 
Look up the history of ASRock. They are (or were) a subsidiary of ASUS. Might answer a few Q's

Who cares?
The fact that products with his brand on it tends to be ridiculously priced makes us care.
This is ruining a potentially great product.
