No love for Ryzen yet when it comes to M-ATX/ITX

I still know this is really early but again would be nice to be able to plan ahead for a nice and cool looking AMD Ryzen build but I just don't feel there is the same love from manufactures that makes cool looking Intel boards that also make AMD boards when we talk Micro-ATX and ITX boards.

when it comes to Intel boards AsRock, Asus, Gigabyte and MSI makes som cool looking boards like this MSI H270M MORTAR ARCTIC board:

or AsRock's Taichi (I know it's comming but that's ATX size not Micro-ATX or ITX)

I can't believe that I am the only one feeling this even here on TPU I would love to see boards like this for AMD Ryzen and to wake up the manufactures bcs if they don't come out of the bush even I will stay Intel and feel like going AMD Ryzen ain't smth I would bother even in the future.

I am thinking about getting a AMD Ryzen build to see how it's gonna go compared to my i7-6700k and mby keeping the Ryzen but this all depends on how everything is gonna look.

At first I really didn't like that MSI, but here I am looking at my current build going damn that would look good in there. I hope they release an AMD MATX board that works well.

Ryzen wasn't even launched. They always first release normal sized ATX boards, then they release smaller formats if response is good. Especially with new socket (AM4). Things will change once AM4 is established "standard" and vendors go fancy with it...

I really want to see how the itx amd's look, will the proposed x300 'sff' chipset be any good? and will board partners just stick the top chipset on like they have with itx z170/270

u say normal it's atx first, but the last few Intel generations showed ATX, Micro-ATX and even some ITX boards before launch so this here is kinda disappointing with AMD platform already.

Give it time.

Personally, I really dislike ATX. It's too big. Since I've never used SLI, it's just a waste of space.

I feel the same never had any luck running SLi back in the day with 2x8800GT's and never really tried it again and when u r depending on drivers and games to work together it's better to have one strong card and no needing that much dependency for everything to work together.

Thank u it looks like it misses a couple of boards but it's nice page, but only one board there I really like the esthetics of and that's the AsRock X370 Taichi but I wouldn't care if I had to go B350 to get a Micro-ATX board like with the MSI H270M MORTAR ARCTIC.

I hear ya about the lack of ITX, I'm just not as anxious to upgrade so I haven't said much about it. When it does happen, will be looking at X300, ITX, and 6-core (most likely).

My home server is mATX, so I'm also interested with that, but only when the Zen APUs launch.

Patiently waiting for a nice, high end enthusiast iTX board. Really hope mfgs pay a lil' more attention to this segment this time as AMD lost me last go 'round because there wasn't many/any options compared to Intel, an 8320 would've been sufficient.

No one has reason to release an ITX/mATX because AMD has done nothing in that sector for about 5 years until now. You're literally sitting there when the answer is in the title.
