Resolution > Refresh Rate. At least for me, so I'll go with the higher res as my vote.

The Dell is highly superior as you have work listed there... and other gaming stuff goes fine with it, too, thanks to low input lag. If it was only for sim racing I'd pick 144Hz even though the IQ is craptastic.

I voted for the 144hz because you will be doing sim racing and I think the extra frame rate will help. I have a 2560x1440 25" 60 Hz monitor right now, it is great for games like Skyrim, casual multiplayer games, and older games with resolution hacks to boost the visuals. But if I wanted to do racing competitively, I'd go for frame rate. Might make the difference between crashing and pole position.

I have a triple screen setup dedicated to simracing already, I will not be touching those atm. I am leaning towards that 1440P to be honest... :)
