Still cant believe you have those Raptors, I'm shocked no one has snapped them up as a OS/Cache drive because they may be a couple of years old but they are still pretty damn fast!

If you can still find one for sale new, you will still be paying around double the price of these, so snap them up as they are a bargain

the E8500 is riding at an easy 4.1 as I didn't have time to do any tweaking beyond a half hour, though that's certainly nothing to scoff at for a 24/7 setting lol, I'm planning to shoot for around 4.5 for 24/7

Good question, it's the earlier 8MB cache version but I have no idea whether that was Sata150 or 300 :confused:
