then again its aways old news in benchign - new card cycle is very fast - and the driver debacle is taking toll on the part of the community that spent a lot of time with Vantage and physX driver at the beginning

Why do people say this game cant be played at max settings I mean you got 80 fps at 1680 x 1050 thats more than playable considering I get 30ish and I can play it

I know, its funny that "Max" settings are at astronomical resolutions and crazy high detail with 24x AA/AF.
The game is nice at mid settings.
I guess if you have to play on your 100 inch HD Plazma to impress you friends then it might make the difference.

Wow... on the stock cooling solution there is NO SPACE for air to get into the fans. I wonder how hot the cards would get in a normal case.

Heh, my 30" is only for movies. Its only 4 or 5 new games out there that can even run that high at playable framerates. It takes 3 of these to run Crysis on VH at that res & its still hardly playable, whatever. They're only $400 now but they really scale like garbage except for syn benching.

I'd rather have 2 4870x2's than 3 gtx 280s. The 4870x2's are cheaper than 3 gtx 280s and offer similar or more performance. I guess the card doesn't count because it's better. Remember 7950gx2 vs. X1950XTX? The single GPU card beating the x2 card in almost every game? How were those times for you?
