the chart is really clear, it measures performance PER DOLLAR and performance PER WATT, i'm not making math today but it doesn't seem laughable, ballpark it kind of seems true.

i don't see why so many jokes or laughs?

Gpu's i won't make that mistake anytime soon, but the cpu's are fine. Do you have anything against their CPU's?

i think they didn't read anything just looked at the numbers and started writing funny stuff

miserable fucking scumbag company to try justify non sense prices, well after this only left put lower prices because nobody believe any word of this type of company

various prices stay wrong case rtx 3060 non ti stay in 390us dont 430us (exist more competent sellers and more cheap like microcenter)

rtx 3060ti stay at 479us dont 580us

rtx 3070 stay at 499us dont 700us and 50us more lower than amd put rx 6750 xt at 550us according slides but in reality rx 6750 xt begins on 580us on microcenter

rtx 3070ti stay at 699us dont 750us

and rx 6800 xt begins on 799us dont 850us

and now beside liars in information can add lazy to searching proper prices, another frank assnor classic like as justify rx 6500 xt on 200us for crappy adapted laptop gpu with 64bit memory bus, reduced capabilities (video decoding - encoding) and reduced pci-e lanes

compared before models like rx 5500xt with 128bit memory bus, more ram options like 8gb models, complete capabilities (video decoding - encoding) and more proper pci-e lanes like x8 lanes rx 6500 xt seems utter garbage

What did AMD did to you guys? And this coming from someone that usually trashes AMD gpu's.

Aren't those MSRP? What's the point of looking to prices in random sites? They don't control retail prices (sure there is more to that, but in honesty AMD or NVIDIA aren't the main guilty parties for the difference to real prices)

As a hobbyist in this field for 20+ years now.... I have mentioned before, it completely baffles me the very hardlines people have regarding brand loyalty in this space. Last time I was aware, I hadn't received my customer appreciation check in the mail from AMD, Nvidia, Intel, etc.
Same here. And exactly. I don’t own a share in anything either.

Here in Canada the Rx 6600 is about $100 less than a 3050 on avg. So depending on card and location there is some truth to fps / $

Now doesn’t mean it’s great value or that I would buy anything.

I remember similar situation before appear ryzen when intel put around 300 bucks for quad cores + ht case i7 4790K - 6700K - 7700K and after this prices begin to fall rapidly and now have offers like this for quad core + ht cpu

69us

89us

i don't think compasion is what they need, ever asked for, or is anyone offering. It's just about being fair. MSRP's are absurd, anything beyond that is 90% (idk some random high percentage) not their fault.

This kind of campaings comparing the competition always use the manufacturing sugested retail price, of course prices move as products age, now they are starting to be lower but until very recently were much higher.

The 6500xt was made to exploit the current market conditions, is it bad? Yes, just as bad as nvidia waiting more than a year to bother releasing the 3050 for example. Neither company is our friend.

How in his own chart 3090 is 2% slower than 3080Ti at 4K max?
Are we talking about a highly OC 3080Ti (can you find highly OC 3080Ti parts at below MSRP?) vs 3090 stock clocks?

Who cares? Marketing is marketing. I've never bought anything based on what a company tried to tell me was true or false.

They are simply trying to keep the 6x50 line out there for a few more days. Nothing new.

There's a grain of truth to that, all the green team competitors are way above the MSRP.. so the performance per dollar on the red side is better. Yet somehow Nvidia sells a lot more.
"it just works"
View attachment 247763

That's always been the case, AdoredTV did a multi part series on this a few years ago that analyzed the sales figures compared to performance and reviews, and showed that even when AMD had a better product in basically every category, Nvidia still sold more by far. AdoredTV chalks it up to "mentia", or minds hare, and I'd agree.... When someone new to PC DIY or gaming encounters enough rabid fans over and over and over again in every comments section they go to, they're going to start believing there's something to it... I think part of it is a sort of "peer pressure", that people go with Nvidia because they don't want to be the odd person out so to speak....

*Say what you want about AdoredTV, but the videos I'm referencing were meticulous in research and citing sources to reputable reviewers and sales figures... The empirical data is there to support his conclusion
