I be saying same thing about Huang nvidia It's been 11 years and counting :) best choice ever, expensive garbage with gimmicky features for kidz
I need the truckload of Anti-Aliasing options i can access via Nvidia Inspector. Mainly for old games, some need Sparse Grid Super Sampling, some require D3D 4x4 AA, and another may work best with 16xS.

AMD doesn't offer that.

Most people on this AMD defense never owned or not recently supported AMD's gpu's, or just got on now that they are on top.

This to say i speak from my experiences. This chart seems absolutely normal to me, i don't get the reactions.
I have been exclusively using AMD since the 6800 (Not 2021) and can say that what you are describing has not been my experience. The 5000 series GPUs did have issues (what 1st gen product does not) but they were few are far between (Blown up by the connected World). Regardless of what you want to say the 6800XT is a great card and is as fast as 2 Vega 64s in crossfire. It is also a great 4K card that is faster today than when I got it thanks to "dreaded" Driver updates from AMD. My biggest gripe with AMD is that they should not have followed NVIDIA and kept crossfire support (not DX12 Multi GPU) at the driver level. The resources that AMD have been dedicating to software development though are a nice carrot to have.

Gpu's i won't make that mistake anytime soon, but the cpu's are fine. Do you have anything against their CPU's?
Had a 5800X last year, spend two weeks trying to get it running without crashing every 30 minutes on stock settings.

Send the whole lot back, build back my 4770K, and 3 months later i got a 11700, which has been running flawless ever since.

GPU wise they don't offer the hidden Anti-Aliasing settings that Nvidia has. And i never had issues with Nvidia, so i'll stick with what works.

Every Intel setup I have built has run flawless out of the boxes. To be fair though, the Ryzen 2600x setup I had previously did run fine.

I know several local stores that some time ago had their warranty denied just for using 3200mhz memory in PCs with intel cpus. Very nice.

that's weird stores and poor consumer laws, none of that would even be possible in my country. Intel has nothing to do with it.

This is what I like about Intel: it runs out of the box. AMD needs chipset drivers and all kinds of messing around with software.

What?

nothing in what you say or quote makes any sense. You didn't even watch the video. But even if that had any relevance and if you have XMP and your Intel CPU dies, just idk don't tell them that, they won't know.

Some people live for drama.
Really ? What part of running above the specified by intel even if you use the XMP standard, voids the warranty are you having difficulty to understanding?

Of course lying works for individual consumers who only buy one CPU and has the CPU tax document only. Not for stores that sell the PC assembled with a tax document (required when asking for warranty by law) containing all the PC parts, including the memory.

"No, intel, we sell this PC with expensive ultra gold RGB edition memory @ 3600Mhz to run at 2666mhz."

That's a new one to me, better tell my PC it ain't supposed to run.
Built a 2600, during easter. Put shit in the box, turn on, install OS.

I did need to enter the BIOS to turn on SVM though.

I'm not saying that an AMD system doesn't work without a chipset driver, but you need it for proper energy efficiency and turbo behaviours. You also need to tweak windows power options on some generations.

I wonder if this assertion from AMD has anything to do with their new "preview" driver?

AMD can claim whatever they like, it does not make it true.
well it actual is true though... they wont claim a legally sueable lie... they are more powerful for less money... its basic math... your on the fourms you must know the card cost to power lvl to be here... right? right? noone is that stupid to ignore a billion dollars baisc announcement without knowing the math they used... unless you are a billionare worth more then them are you?
