AMD Releases Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.4.1 WHQL with Dozens of New Features

I just installed the minimal version of this driver, selected factory reset option, and i also selected do not keep user settings options.

Everything worked fine, rebooted, but now it is saying "driver and install version do not match" and it won't let me play any games or access amd radeon software.

RIP. clean install coming. I was planning to do one soon anyway to be honest so it's all good.

Excellent software as usual from AMD, but it's a shame the VRAM idle speed still hasn't been fixed.

they can't fix it if you don't report the bug. i just reported my bug that i posted earlier.
I already reported it.

I already reported it.

did you tell them in notes its due to 165hz refresh rate monitors? 144hz and that bug on vram goes away. probably should be specific on the bug reporting tool

AMD released FSR for consoles :) Maybe soon will have version for dGPUs?

No they didn't. They released AMD FX for consoles.

The DLSS equivalent is still not expected until Fall 2021, and it will come out on consoles and PC at same time, AMD already made this clear.

Happens on my 144Hz monitor and yes I did. No reply.

That idle VRAM speed thing happens on my Ampere GPU too. It's because my main monitor is 144 Hz, and my secondary is 75 Hz. If I set my secondary at half my main's refresh rate (72 Hz), the problem goes away and the GPU idles properly.

This longstanding Bug:

"Brightness flickering may intermittently occur in some games or applications when Radeon FreeSync is enabled, and the game is set to use borderless fullscreen."

Has not been fixed, I repeat, has NOT been fixed.

"Some high refresh rate, high resolution TV displays may experience corruption when connected via HDMI on Radeon RX 6000 series graphics products."

My third computer monitor (1920x1200) has had issues using the RX 6900XT HDMI port with very intermittent flashes and blackouts and this new driver has fixed the issue! The other two monitors (2560x1600 and 1920x1200) however were just fine using the DisplayPort connectors.

I don't know if they did this intentionally, but eth miner crashes instantly (completely wiped drivers to make sure). Shady as hell if so. "unknown device name, failed to intialize"
Why would you change the device name?
