I cannot help that you don't remember. I do ( I had a 9800 gtx) and people with 8800 and 9800 cards were pissed because they felt the boy at geforce were holding out on them and should have released those driver way before that. (your old WilE and don't remember like you used to)
Also the 295 gtx will still compete but the price will drop to about 300.00 , and it will compete with the 5870 1 gb
No, sorry trt. I remember clearly what the performance was like after 4800's launch. That was the whole reason I went ahead and bought some 4800 cards. I clearly remember the incremental increases.
