Ea just seem to get more and more retarded as time goes by.
Indeed.
The Metacritic and Amazon user reviews are giving the game a slating: it has dropped from 7.4 to 7.1 in a matter of hours on Metacritic and currently has only 2 stars on Amazon. The main causes of contention are the single player campaign and Origin. As far as I'm concerned, single player was never the focus of Battlefield games, but with regards to Origin, they simply appear pigheaded and oblivious to the community's wishes, because, let's face it, even those who bought the game have absolutely no desire to use Origin and are by no means rushing to its defence. Not that user reviiews are the measure of a game, but to my mind it was extremely stupid to use the BF3 launch to ram an unwanted platform down customers' throats and clearly I am not alone. Bad publicity hurts, as does ignoring the gaming community. There was simply no need.
