Can you guess Which game it is?

Yup Final Fantasy 6. Easily my fav of the series!

That would be my pick on narrative at least overall though FF7 was ground breaking on cut scenes and had a pretty strong narrative as well. Just don't make me pick between Phantasy Star and FF6 on narrative because they are both masterpieces, but if I had to probably PS2 honestly pretty near foretold the future accurately up to a point though you might say similarly about FF6.

Do you mean PhantasyStar 3 or 4? I heard both were very good, but that depends on who one talks too.

PhantasyStar2 was critically praised. Never played any of them much, they just didn't grab and pull me in.

I meant PS2 on the narrative in regard to FF6. PS3 was pretty solid and had some interesting twists with alternate narratives, but overall PS2 narrative was I'd stronger it was a great game. Another solid one is Suikoden 2. Chrono Trigger of course too, but gets talked about a lot more. Wild Arms was another really great JRPG and the music is also really fantastic.

Should be an easy one guys ;)

Loved that game sequel is coming

Wow, really? Just wish they could add some Predators in there. Then it would just be insane.

What about this?

1. Hellblade 2
2. Alan Wake 2 DLC (pic1) and main game (2)
Oh right now that you mention it that is Hellblade 2's cave map on the second pic.
Cthulhu also has a rather vivid colored art style like certain parts of Hellblade.

Yet to play the Alan Wake games but considering that those 2 are in the same world its close enough. 'I should really play those games at some point since I did like Control but I did not get the reference points between the 2 games'

I don't know what game it is, but that's a PlayStation game, I can tell that much. The lack of texture filtering, the infamous alignment of them, and the level of geometric detail all match that of games on that system. I can recognize that anywhere. The higher resolution probably means it's being emulated.

With an EA Sports blimp, I'd say look at EA titles that were released of the console, probably some Need for Speed title since there's a focus on roads (or other places that look like race paths for vehicles).

Trick question, you're playing RTSS.

Also RTSS.
Well this was an academic and clever approach, congrats!
This was indeed a racing game but not from NFS series. It is "Nascar Rumble" released in 2000 for PS1.
As of 2025, the game still remains as PS1 exclusive :)

Playstation 1 Edition stuff. This is one of the reasons I never liked the OG Playstation. Jiggling polygons and textures that don't line up always looked like amateur-hour crap to me.
For me it was difficult to get used to at first. I was always very annoyed by it.
