I don't think so, it looks as if they've altered the time of day settings and that's it.

That "titanic" screenshot leads me to believe that at least some of these are just artistic 3D renders using the CryEngine(2), with nothing to do with any future Crysis game.

There are only 2 screenshots released from crysis 2 atm. These are fan made pics using the editor and other third party assets.

We're all guilty of it, but you raise a good point, these aren't from Crysis 2.

i just noticed one thing that makes all of these games look so unrealistic is the fact that distant objects are always 100% focused and crystal clear.. while its cool to be able to see 10 miles away with crystal clarity.. i think it would look more real if distant objects just got a tiny bit blurry.. they would lok alot more like the photo above

1 notice in the below photo how everything is so sharp and clear.. even the buildings at the extreme distance have sharp cut figures, maybey seems tehre is a tiny amount of blurr but thats mainly due to the sunlight (i think)

below notice how distant objects are more blurry than closer objects.. kind of add some realism to it.. we dont see everything in a perfect vacuum with 0/20 vision
