i recon he is correct.. ati are leading nvidia are looking at what they are planning (spies) then making sure their offering beats it..
they did exactly this with 8800gt.. out of time and out of place till it became obvious has to its purpose.. torpedo the planned ati 3700 range...
its the down side of playing the first card.. the other team know exactly what to beat.. nvdia have the money to do just this.. and its what they do..
it will be a kludge compared to the properly planned ati x2 but it will out perform it..
