my online gaming name is PoisoN so ive basically based my case around the skull and cross bones picture they used to put on poison bottles and other toxic liquids just incase you wondered what inspired it.

nice! I must say much better than my sorry ass attempts with a spray can.

thank you! the trick is to make templates by drawing and cutting out carefully and getting it stuck down on the case as flat as possible so you dont get overspray it is very time consuming but worth the effort then mask of the surrounding areas after it drys you can give it a wipe over lightly then add clear coat to bring back the shine and protect the paint.

Very interesting, Nitro. You can do mine if you want......

:D

**whispers** ... please ....

I probably would if you lived close by i enjoyed doing it.

That's actually pretty good for your first custom spray job, slightly basic and I'm not that keen on the design but a damn good start man.

I'd like to see what you could do with some practise, keep it up!

Ok ive added another image but as i said this is not the completed rig yet but gives you an idea.

I'll put down a 4 on that.

Really clean looking, and an excellent first job! Some of the edges appear to be a little fuzzy, but it's hardly noticeable unless staring right at those areas. Really hard, though, to obtain that kind of outline to a design with rattlecans - TBH, I can't tell for sure whether it was done with rattlecans or a paint gun.

Not too keen on the design, either - but I can't hold your own personal taste against ya. Good job, man! :toast:

thanks imperialreign and yes it was done with a rattle can lol it took lots of drawing cutting out sticking down masking lineing up etc u get the idea took me 2 days and the pictures really dont do it justice the finnish looks much better it really shines like polished glass.

Which is why I really respect the effect you've gone too. I just can't wait until you get some more intricate designs on the go... you've even inspired me to laser cut my clan's logo that my friend drew into the edge of my next tower... :O Yeah I said a tower, not a SFF - what's wrong with meh?

HEH HEH HEH!

I gave a three.
Not because it sucks, but I just think its basic.
Id love to see a more complex design, but I understand that it is difficult and time consuming to do. Best of luck anyway bro.

Thanks for the votes guys im really pleased with it and yes it aint a complex design but still its better than a blank side i I think. And it turned out alot better than even i was expecting.I am a grade A in art but ive never worked with an airbrush before dont even own one wish i did lol ive never tried anything like this with a spray can either i used to design for local tattooists thats about as far as my art work went the only reason why i attemped it is because the case didnt cost me a great deal id hate to mess up a expensive one lol.

The question is subjective, one might like the result and someone else mightn't.

For me it's awesome. I'm very clumsy-handed... I'd never be able to achieve such a magnificent result. Perhaps I'd have chosen a different picture but it's perfect for my standards just the same.

Thanks black panther and yes you are right you can have mixed views and results on just about anything really if everyone liked the same thing it would be a boring world with no choices thanks for the kind compliments.:)
