Do video games aggrivate you?

I don't get mad playing video games, but I do get aggravated sometimes. Mainly when I'm playing online with a few idiots, but I do realize that I have a job, friends, and a life. They play that game for 10+ hours a day.

My left thumb is broken so yes, video games are pissing me off lately.
I have to hit the space bar with my right index finger while typing. And trying to play an FPS is a nightmare not being able to jump .

I've never recgonized any TPUers in any game that I play, including BF2. I mostly play on the [BOG] Armored Fury server.

How often does this happen? I don't think I have ever recognized anyone from any forum in any game. That would be shear luck to have that happen.

yeah me either, been playing a lot of TF2 lately and I only play on 3 servers they are all apart of the same network (stock maps, fun maps, pro maps)

I have always been a aggressive gamer. Joysticks, Controler (All from Atari - XBox), Keyboards and mice have felt my wrath of rage. I think I kept ASCII in high demand with the Super Nintendo.

I still remember the first keyboard that met its maker. I just got my first pc and I have been playing FPS on consoles and wasn't used to keyboard and mouse yet. I played Quake III Arena, the game was out for 2 or 3 years at this point and it was my first time playing it. I went online and got my ass handed to me.

Now I can handle losing, so I played that game night and day till I was good at it and went back online. I kicked some little frag-ass. My online ranking was like #1,000,000. @ that time(now remember the game was out for 2 or 3 years at this time).

The next day I played someone that was ranked pretty high (Top 20 I Think). And I think he had a Physics hack or something because he was flying around the room and launching missiles from the ceiling, I still to this date remember what he looked like it was Ryu from Street Fighter in his white gee.

Sometimes, though not near as much as they used to. Probably the best game for PISSING you off, but still be fun enough to keep you coming back is Breakdown. Great game for the original Xbox, outstanding story, good combat, but that game was so fucking cheap in places....

No kidding that was tough level. Factory driver was really easy peasy on the first levels but quickly became "difficult"... requiring all sorts of spastic handmovements to combine accelerate, turn, hand-brake, indicator, open the glove box while texting on your mobile phone, smoke signal, etc.

I can beat it no problem now but NFSPU was the first racing game I played on PC so it was a struggle for me. I still love the game to death though (still my favorite racing game).

[RANT]The last round. I was LEADER for six rounds. The last fucking tunnel, finish lane is in sight. And with a molecule of the wing mirror I touched a pillar of that tunnel. T'was not even a pillar, it was barely an inch of concrete and the tunnel exit arc. And I turned around and came to a stop, just to see ALL oponents racing by. THat was the moment I took my gamepad, stood up, the arm with the gamepad in my hand risen, and I smashed it down in sheer rage. Then I took the disc out, put it in the box and never took it out again.[/RANT]

Underground, not Underground 2, right?

In Underground, there are two courses where the AI difficulty is ridiculously high. The trick is fall way behind and don't use any N2O. Once you come up on the last lap, lay into the NOS. Definitely use N2O coming on to every straight (that second or so window makes all the difference). They'll run out of N2O pretty quickly while you have tons stashed. So long as you drive well on that last lap, you'll win.

If you try to keep up with them using N2O like they do, they'll always win.


Underground 2 was ridiculously easy.

This may not fit in here but I never broke anything when getting mad but I did break something when I jumped out of my chair in fear " while holding onto my mouse for dear life " and fell back into my chair while smashing my mouse to bits

I don't even freak out in games but when I was playing STALKER...it was late at night and I was sneaking behind 2 bandits. they were walking up this building and it was storming too. I was so quite and took me 2 mins to finally get within reach of killing them.
JUST before I made my move to gut them...with my peripheral vision I saw something move and it was a bandit WHO WAS SNEAKING UP ON ME!!!!!!! I JUMPED so high in fear that my keyboard got smacked hard and flew to the ground and I held onto my mouse in fear of my life! I ended up smashing it very hard when I reached back to my chair.

I was so focused and a little thing like that made me feel like such a fool

of course my brother was behind me playing STALKER too and he turned around wondering wtf I did...then he laughed for ages!!

Underground 2 was ridiculously easy.

That was a way to do it, but you could flat out beat them. I found the first one really easy except a few tracks like you mentioned the AI was unreal, they would have to be doing like 300+ mph to catch me and they damn well would. But it was possible to lead all the laps on those, it just took some mad ass driving.

I was playing on hard. I only dropped the difficulty to medium on one of the tracks before I discovered that way to fool the AI. Only two tracks have the riddiculous AI on hard. On easy, the entire game is a breeze.


Heh, Test Drive had the same type of AI. Their performance is relative to yours so every single race is close. That one was pretty frustrating but I never really got angry.

Yeah the original Underground. Not that I was a bad driver or unaware of the little tricks. But its just that I kept crashing or doing something stupid that cost me the 1st place.
So I actually was mad at myself for failing.
