Feature Requests

intel mobo

I think there are a lot of us(intel 945gnt users) that would like support for the IDT CV115FPVG clock generator.
When i use the IDT CV115-4 it shows double the fsb and double the frequency(i have an intel p4 630)
Thanks,

Is is possable to add the motherboard TUL Ax480A7-F? Its a ATI RX480 north and a ULI 1573 south with PLL ICS 951416. Its a very nice S754 PCI-E full ATX board with no FSB or multi in the BIOS. They have all the voltage settings in the BIOS for CPU up to 1.8V, mem to 2.9V, and chipset to 1.5V but very strange not to have FSB and multi options.
Thanks.

NF2 platforms needed

Hi there...

I would really like to use this great utility with my DFI LB Ultra B.... the NF2 socket A platform... I'm bummed out to see there is no support for it... any chance of getting this implemented soon?

there are still a ton of NF2 users out there that would love this.

Make is useable for ISC 954119 plz wizzard!!!

First of all: Hey everyone, new here, never posted.. bla hehe
Now my bug report / feature request (please move my post, if it's wrong in here !):
Because I've got a watercooled system and I don't have much air coolers at all, the
"Fan Output - Monitoring"
is most often completely useless for me, BUT: It says I had 50,4% Fan Output on all fans all the time :wtf: .
Maybe noone has the same problem as me (and it doesn't annoy me too much), but there could be a way to fix it so I wanted to do a report ;).
Thx for listening, out.

make a beta so I know its stable? :D

Feature request:

Ability to run systool with a non administrator user account.

Thx.

I feel if you are not an admin on a computer you should not be able to use systool to change any settings. If you need something for information gathering you could use CPU-Z. Of course thats just my opinion.

I'm using systool along with the samurize plugin to report cpu / gpu temp, fans speed, etc..
It's the only tool, I know who is able to report both system monitoring and ati/nvidia temp.
it's actually runing great with admin rights on my computer, but i don't really like having that kind of program running with all privileges (don't say i'm paranoid :) )
So, should be great if we could at least use the monitoring part without those admin rights.

It would be cool if systool and atitool is integrated such that when a 3D application is detected, a profile for both the fsb clock and vga clocks can be loaded. It will also be nice if systool can load certain profiles when it detects certain programs are loaded. That way we can optimize electric efficiency and save on our electric bills and also allow our hardware to last longer. Fan speed adjustment like speedfan will be great too.

Anyways, this is a great program just like atitool! I love them!

HDD Acoustic Management profiling

When playing with the HDD Acoustic Management, I find I get better throughput numbers when setting it to "Minimum noise", though my seek numbers take a slight hit. Is it possible to make a "profile" test that will run the benchmarking many times each at a different Acoustic Management level? Also, how should I weight the seek performance and throughput numbers when deciding on the optimum settings?

Thanks!

I would like to see support for the RTM360-180 clockgenerator. I've yet to find any program that supports it (I've tried clockgen and speedfan).

Please add support for Fintek monitoring chip, which used on Epox MBs, such as 9NPA3 SLI, 8NPA7I and etc.

Didn't have a chance to read through the whole thread, so I'm not sure if this is asked or not, but it would be really cool to be able to display some vital info on my Logitech G15 keyboard. The application and SDK are here:

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/US/EN,CRID=1796,contentid=10824

SysTool has to be the only program I know that reads the temps of my CPU, mobo and video card correctly and without having to run another proggie like ATI Tool, not to mention it reads all the voltages correctly, too. ;)

I would like to see support for Intel Board D975XBX.
Is this in progress or for later revs?

Thanks!

FSB overclocking is possible by chosing the ICS952505 clockgenerator.
SysTool reads the multi wrong though.

Multiplier change for Core Duo and Core 2 Duo would be a nice addition to
SysTool :)

About SYSTOOL (From Argentina)

Hi, i'm Victor from Argentina! (Sorry my bad english)
I'm overclocking my CPU with the extraordinary Systool, but i like very much if two more things are added to this utility: One; if you please put a test pattern sizes of 64k, 128k, and 256k for select in CPU OVERCLOCKING tab. This is to perform automatic tune using the + 2 mhz fsb per second method (because more than +2 fsb per second cause the system crash).
Two; if you please add a STOP WHEN FSB LIMIT IS REACHED select option. This mean when the fsb clocks up to the limit previous marked in the FSB LIMIT BOX, then stop finding and stay with the current clock.

My system: Msi Neo3 F nForce 4-4x and sempron 64 2500+ (1406 Ghz @ 2536 Ghz. 362 fsb ok)

Bye and thank you for all. :D

There is a bug in NF4 overclocking in Systool where it doesn't give proper ram speed with the multiplier used. It would be nice to have a good calculation on that for any multiplier and any LDT and ram speed ratios. I bet it's a comlex formula thoe.

Definitely need to implement Prime95 small FFT's. Nothing finds pure CPU errors faster than that. Often I'll be able to pass a 32M SuperPI but fail a small FFT within minutes.

Actually, I just finished a 32M superPi successfully, and right afterward I opened up Prime and did a small FFT torture test. It ran less than 10 seconds before it found an error.

What I've found to be the most effective way of finding the max OC on my Amd64's has been to lower the HT multiplier to 3 or 4, and the ram divider so that neither the mobo or ram can affect the stability. Then I use ClockGen to bump up the FSB 20mhz at a time until I can't pass a 1M SuperPi. Then I start to slow the fsb back down until I can pass a 32m superpi. After I pass a 32m pi I proceed to run small FFT's and slow the fsb down in small increments until I can run at least 24 hours of small FFT's without error.
This is all assuming that I just set the vcore to the highest level I'm comfortable with at the beginning so I don't have to keep rebooting into bios to bump up/down the vcore. After I find my speed that the cpu will do 24 hour of small fft's I repeat the FFT testing while backing off the vcore until I reach the minimum vcore required for a 24 hour fft run.

this is really badly written, sorry, but I think just adding in Prime95 type testing and expanding the built-in scripting of the program would allow people like myself who already have well established routines to automate our routines in the program.

Please add support for Asus K8AE-LM

This MoBo, is mounted on Hp pavilion slimline s7410...
Hp bios doesn't allow to change FSB, so it's possible to change with SysTool???

Thanks in advance

Is there the remote posibility of adding support to the Core Solo/Core Duo FSB overclocking? These are great overclocking chips, and the ones with low multipliers (T2300/T2400) have a lot of headroom.

Thanks in advance.
