Nvidia GeForce | PLE Computers

The guy said 2 weeks for delivery and because of high demand there will be a increased Price. He didn't go any further

Funny mine just contains a black hole from which no money is safe. I think it leads to the "PC" dimension.

Well if they release the RTX5090 £10 paupers edition, i'm peachy.

I linked a friend to that today to show the crazy price of 5080's. Launch day they had multiple MSRP models, now they're nowhere in sight, and the only one that was showing as in stock at the time we looked was the Palit GamingPro which iirc us supposed to be an MSRP card. For those abroad, that's $2019 dollarydoos, but that model is listed at $2799 now .....

I was bought a 5080 as a present (long story!) but I should have noticed certain questions being asked. What they ended up buying was the 5080 Gamerock from techfast (deals always posted on Ozbargain) and they sold individual cards which I'd never seen before. That was $2199 which seems comparatively good based on current prices and availability.

I just bought a 4060 because........

Simple solution with child expenses... Sell your first born or sacrifice them on the alter of our lord and saviour God Nvidius.

Hard passin on any GPU upgrade, but thinking about platform upgrade since now Core Ultra is almost out, the 14/15th gen is getting some discounts on boards and CPU's. I am kinda tempted.

sorry in advance if i haven't followed your posts but is it a good card for what u need, and is it worth the price tag you reckon ? Im pretty happy with my latest 7800xt 16gb and that cost Aus $ 800.

Two weeks. He did not say the first or the last two weeks.

You picked a bad time to buy processors, mainboards, power supply units and gpus.

For low end entry hardware it may not matter. e.g. ryzen 5700x with a radeon 6600xt graphic card and any am4 mainboard and any ddr4 kit

Nothing for me to purchase. No nvidia 5090 - no ryzen 9800X3d. The usual shops are very nasty and does not even mention that the 5000 nvidia gpu series exists or the ryzen 9800x3d exists. Although those shops give the impression to list "all" different graphic card vendors and series.

The ryzen 9800X3d price madness has not calmed down
Prices and dates are universal language, regardless the text in german.

Na, im not in the market for a new GPU or MB or whatever just thought it was interesting to share what we are going to pay in AUS for GeForce cards

if you can afford or justify it suppose, well then :)

The highest i saw the 4090 was near 4000, and on ebay and the likes it was well over 4000. Disgusting and part of the ever creeping normality in our society.

Even the seagate 24TB drives have shot up 30% in past few months. disgusting really.

I don't even consider a Nvidia based graphics card anymore, more looking forward to AMD but it looks like the prices will their series this year will be out of my price range :(

because of high demand

Yep, joke prices. No point rushing in now. Just going to wait until the dust settles to get a decent price even if that means waiting 12 months or more.

More time spent with my wife and two kids.

It's a wealthy persons game now.
Lower income earners need not apply.

It's a great, worth the price is debatable (and I didn't pay for one myself), borderline even, but at $2000-2200 AUD there are mostly worse options second hand for the same ish or faster, but if you're happy with considerably slower then the value is heaps better the lower you go.

7800XT at 800 AUD is a decent deal for raster perf and VRAM, but not even close to the same league as a 5080 for traditional perf, let alone the better feature set.

Again, I'm not advocating for spending 2k+ aud on a 5080, I can only say that it's a great card and a big upgrade from a 3080.

At this rate, I'd you didn't get one at launch it's likely going to be expensive or a lengthy wait (or both) to get one. May as well not.

5090 if you can find one in my country they start at 3900+ $ and the 5080 is like 1600+.

Not that I'm in the market for one anyway, always been a budget-mid range user since those are enough for my needs but at this rate even a lowly 5060 Ti will cost an arm and leg around here and if it won't even reach the 4070 Super's performance then I will just pass on this generation. 'Heres hoping that my 3060 Ti wont die on me anytime soon..'

For anyone wondering, no I'm not considering AMD cause I do in fact like and use Nvidia's feature set in pretty much every game that supports them so ye sadly I have to pay that tax..

And the worst part is my card of choice (7900 XTX) is nowhere to be found in AUS, at least in my state. I hope my current PowerColor 7900 XTX is built tough because if it fails the current market for replacements is GRIM.

My boss has been hanging out to upgrade from his 3090 to a 5090 but despite his considerable wallet, even he can't justify the cost of one. At the moment he's considering a 5080 and trying again when the 6000 series hits.

I mean, they're free to ask. That's not the problem.
Gaming is supposed to be about entertainment. Yet it seems to have turned into a drug. Why else would people feel they have to buy stuff they can't afford or costs more than they're used to pay and then complain about it?

I'm willing to spend up to 3000€ for the rtx 5090. I'm building a new computer this year.

Personally I'm in the market to replace my ageing RX 580,but I'm not moving a single coin until after the new Radeon cards are out in the market for a while over here. My hope is the market will have calmed down by then and prices will be less crazy, plus having more GPU variety to pick from. It's not like I'm gunning for a 5080/5090 anyway so I'm not going to validate any pricing that's too crazy
