AGP X1950Pro 512MB BIOS

Changes:

VGPU: 600MHz
Memory: 1.5GHz
Fan: 82% 24\7

Tweaked memory timings. No other changes yet. I have no means of testing AGP BIOS files.

Hey Ketxxx, glad yr getting yr groove on with the new lady. If yr knob's sore jam it in there with sum fancy menthol lube stuff from Ann Summers/ similar it gets CRAZY cold then HOT HOT HOT and increases stamina thru numbness and she'll think yr a sex god after an hours pumping!

I've just installed Mullered07's HIS x1950 Pro and finding I've not got the major improvement over the x1650xt I was expecting but I suspect it's down to cpu as does Mullered07. Any chance I could get a tweaked bios from you please if I send the existing one? The increased Vgpu does sound like it would help as my gpu temps are nice with the AcceleroX2 that I got on the card (just glad I have this Thermaltake case that accepts the beast!)

hey KetXXX, i understand that your very busy with other requests, but i noticed you've touched on a few agp boards now.

well i can get my load temps under 45 degrees now at 600mhz, so i know i have headroom at least heat wise, but desperately need tweaked vcore and memory timings (memory rated at 1.1ns! )

any help muchly appreciated, and i look forward to dragging heaps more from this card, and i'm about to mate it with a core 2 duo, hopefully somewhere around the 3GHZ mark. aiming for 10,000 05' 3dmarks. and hopefully 5,000+ 06' 3dmarks

i was thinking upping a new e4500 (11x multi) simply to 1066fsb would be an easy o/c with nice benefits...after all 2.93ghz is the x6800 stock frequency, all be it with less cache...

Heres a new PCIE 512MB BIOS, its had a very minor revision, but could help some with stability issues.

lol stamina isnt a problem ;) jem is rather happy with the gspot technique of mine, if ya catch my drift ;)

Anyways what you want modding? I'll try to get around to it within a few days once I know what you want done.

Damn.. this'll teach me not to read all the posts first before replying lol. Anyway with a C2D around 3.4GHz+ and a 1950pro around 640\1.6, you can expect a AM3 score of about 110k, 3dm05 around 11.8k and 3dm06 around 5.8k. Once the GPU starts to have its power unlocked tho (that happens around 655MHz+) the thing really starts to fly, with clocks of 655\1.6 AM3 will rocket to about 125k, 3m05 to around 12.5k and 3dm06 to around 6180. all that increase just from an extra 15mhz on the core

If you attach a image from your card I can always take a look at the BIOS.

hey wolf id recommend the e6420 over e4500, because altho the cache doesnt make much difference in performance, apparently what it does is reduces the overall amt of time on the FSB getting data, so its sort of like a Data Retention pond. Despite that supposedly the 6420does overclock extremely well.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R stability

Ketxxx,

I was wandering if you could point me out to there
the stalker instability could come from. Using a stock cooler
and BIOS (HIS X1950Pro IceQ3 Turbo 512 AGP @ 590/770) I can run
stable any game but stalker. It would freeze at some point
with only option to shut PC down. If it is related to memory
timings I guess I can use RaBiT to tweak my BIOS.

BTW: So far I was able to push the card 634/810 with stable temps
like GPU: 57 ENV: 47. (3DMark05 9890 with Omega 3.8.330)

BTW2: With my old X850XT PE I was able make stalker
stable by switching to older drivers Omega 3.8.252
With X1950Pro I tried 3.8.330 & 3.8.360 but it did not help.

Thank you in advance.

i thought i attached one on my first post... is that not what you need?

the problem with that is the board im getting only supports up to around 300ish manual fsb setting in the bios, so id rather get a 800 chip and bump it to 1066-ish, considering how cheap they are.

Standard Cooler here, Doesnt Rev Like most people claim, sometimes i wonder if its running due to the sound of the case fans muffling some stuff.

Hello everybody.
I'm getting my hands on a used Sapphire X1950Pro 256Mb from eight months ago, it's an "old" one.
I think its BIOS will be one with voltage tables. I saw that the one that ketxxx modded has no voltage tables, but i think that the original came from one of the newer Pros, with the same PCB as GT's.
I'm going to post the BIOS soon, it will come in handy to those who own "old" 256MB.
(I read all 59 pages and i think a BIOS mod for old 256MB Sapphires is still missing..maybe i'm wrong? point it out if it's already here..)
We'll find out.

Bye!

lol stamina isnt a problem ;) jem is rather happy with the gspot technique of mine, if ya catch my drift ;)

Anyway, I think I could do with a >Vgpu to get my core clocks up as I get the freaky vpu recover thing happening when I guess too much current's being drawn and it just resets the card even with no detectable artifacts :banghead:

Anyway Ketx, upload a stock fanspeed bios, stock everything. This 100% AcceleroX2 is driving me ballistic
