GIGABYTE introduced the AB350N-Gaming WiFi, its first socket AM4 motherboard in the mini-ITX form-factor, with support for the entire Ryzen "Summit Ridge" processor family, the 7th generation "Bristol Ridge" A-series APUs, and the upcoming Ryzen "Raven Ridge" APUs. The board draws power from a combination of 24-pin ATX and 8-pin EPS power connectors, and conditions it for the AM4 SoC with a 6-phase VRM. The motherboard is based on AMD B350 chipset.

The AM4 SoC is wired to two DDR4 DIMM slots, supporting up to 32 GB of dual-channel memory, the lone PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slot, a 32 Gb/s M.2 slot on the reverse side of the PCB, two out of four of the board's SATA 6 Gb/s ports, and two out of six of the board's USB 3.0 ports. Other USB connectivity includes two USB 3.0 ports from the B350 chipset, and two 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 ports (both type-A). Networking includes a WLAN card with 802.11ac WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.2, and gigabit Ethernet. 8-channel HD audio driven by a 120 dBA SNR CODEC makes for the rest of it. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Enhanced bios is listed on their website. Wonder what DDR4 ram speed this motherboard can sustain out of box.

Hmmm now to do this or reuse my 6700k...

hmmm, very tempting, now I want to see what the other companies are going to bring out

Finally, an alternative to BIOSTAR X370GTN.
I'm wondering, if the price will be just as competitive (e.g. under $100)?

I believe the best course of action is to reuse that i7 by converting it to cash, gold, or investing into Silentbogo LLC ))
Now, is that going to be a replacement to your AM1 rig?

It looks like they just had to use the highest quality of VRMs due to space limitations

The price in my country is 120€
...and can do some nice ram speeds

B350 looks like a sensible choice for these small form factor boards. Although curious to know whatever happened to those X300 chipsets specifically designed for ITX boards?

BIOSTAR X370GTN: So far the only overclockable ITX board on the market.

My bet is the enterprise/industrial sector, like they were proposed to.

AMD boards look like they're on a welfare compared to Intel's offerings

Because a sub-100€ board lacks RGB LEDs to rival a landing strip and plastic/aluminium covering parts of the board?
But even those above that price range, I mean, I look at the X370 K7 and disagree with you.

Now give us some Ryzen/Vega APU's to put in them please!

These pc components getting smaller is this some kind downgrade from gigabyte? Now prices are high, its not good time to buy something.

Looks nice, tho the USB3.0 header placement could be better.

I am thinking about it. The am1 rig is in my son's room and he can keep it. No noise no power and perfect for watching his shows lol. This would be the main htpc, so 4k and possibly a 1080ti. We will see.

Looks interesting although I am not 100% sure on the layout.
