It appears CM have cut costs in the controller options section.
I can not find advanced controller options to adjust throttle response for the trigger (although I use the thumb stock for acceleration and braking).

A Codies rep on the official forum had this to say when a thread was made asking if they could add such options...

"Just to confirm, advanced wheel options are only available if you're using a supported wheel."

Source: http://community.codemasters.com/t5...dvanced-Wheel-Settings-please-add/td-p/264122

The odd thing is though, despite him only mentioning wheels, there are several gamepads listed in the supported controllers list of the game's readme.

"GRID 2 can be configured to use almost any PC controller, however we recommend the following controllers for the best gameplay experience:

Xbox 360 Controller for Windows
Logitech Rumblepad 2
Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2
Logitech Rumble Gamepad F310
Logitech Rumble Gamepad F510
Logitech Rumble Gamepad F710
Logitech Dual Action™ Gamepad
Thrustmaster Dual Trigger 3-In-1
Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel
Logitech G25 Wheel
Logitech G27 Wheel
Logitech Driving Force GT
Logitech Driving Force Pro
Logitech Driving Formula Force EX
Logitech MOMO Racing Wheel
Thrustmaster T500RS Racing Wheel
Thrustmaster RGT Force Feedback Pro
Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo Wheel
Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S Wheel
Fanatec Porsche 911 Carrera Wheel
Fanatec Porsche GT3 RS V2 Wheel
Fanatec Porsche 911 GT2
Fanatec Porsche CSR Elite
Fanatec Clubsport Base
Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel

GRID 2 provides default configurations for all of the above, meaning that you should be able to plug-and-play, with no tweaking required."

Source: file:///F:/Games/GRID%202/readme/readme_english.html#control

However many have been mentioning some of the control devices on the above list, including the 360 gamepad, are not responding as if fully supported. Others are claiming no problems. Those of us using KB will likely never get Adv Wheel options. Seems Codies are real good at giving customers the old F you lately.

I am currently using an XBOX 360 wireless controller.
Starting from DiRT 2 I started using a higher throttle response on my right thumb stick so I would be guaranteed max throttle at 100% Acceleration.

Hopefully this will get resolved when I start playing online again.

Let me help you speed hack into that cliff you son of a b****!

This Brazillian AI thought it would be a great idea to gain a boost of speed out of nowhere to try and catch up one too many times.

Yeah I use KB too, and have always managed just fine in original GRID, but that was with Adv Wheel settings, which worked on KB for that game. In this one I'll probably only be able to play on the default difficulty level if they don't add such settings for KB.

I've been considering getting an Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel, which typically works on any game that supports their gamepad, but after hearing people's hit and miss results with the 360 gamepad, it would probably be a gamble.

Believe me there are people with such deep pockets in the 'struggling economy' who can buy the 125,000GBP GRiD 2 edition from their pocket change.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Starting to get used to the handling now (or coming up with work arounds).
Was having issues with not being able to snap out of understeer in a turn without losing too much speed.
The E-Brake doesn't really do the job in GRiD 2 this time but a quick jab of the brakes on full then back to full throttle can shift enough weight with enough torque to get the car to oversteer if it is a rear wheel drive.

Have to say Paris.....WOW.....
Not posting any pics has to be seen in game.

Nope no tweaking of such..just vibration intensity..

I haven't really played the game yet, just a few 1st place races but I'm thinking just before the race MABEY one might have the option to change the settings. I'll see when I get some time. I've been tweaking the video settings and benchmarking.

I think CM nailed the controller settings this time :rockout:

Finally discovered Lorenzo's weaness in those Eliminacion races...

Shove him a little...

And away he goes, lol

That jerk is quick in that VW :nutkick:

Also, I really am starting to dislike the Ai's random speed boosts out of nowhere and having to resort to these tactics... One of the Euro Rand races, I barely passed one guy on a long straight, and a moment later on the same long straight, he comes blazing past me, just about putting me into a wall. So I put him into the other wall, and caused a pileup... jerks.

Definitely the toughest event I've encountered so far. This is the Ap Lei Chau checkpoint race at Hong Kong from the Dubai VIP series. This is on Medium using a keyboard and auto tranny in the Audi RS5. It's the only event so far that took me several tries to get 1st. I really didn't think I was going to be able to do it.

I haven't been putting any effort into getting first.
The driver to watch always seems to ave a can of nos when I am giving them a run for their money on hard.

Promo overtake events are broken I think.
the score to get for medium is so much lower than hard.

Just did the most annoying overtake yet by far. The Auto Express one at Jumeirah Beach in Dubai in the Aston Martin. Narrow track with walls and swervy trucks. After I beat it the Intel one at the Yas Marina Championship Circuit was a piece of cake in the BAC Mono.

Gonna save the last event of season 3 for tomorrow. It'll net me 500,000 fans if I win. I'm at just over 6.25 million so far.
