Im a Windows 10 Now

I never thought I would do this but I just got windows 10 installed and running today. I remember I posted a while back that I was a refusnik after just getting windows 8.1 last year preinstalled on this pc.

It's not all bad. I've been playing with it on my Folding Box, Karen. I like it. I am also real used to 8.1, been using 8, then 8.1 for the past 2+ years!

8.1 was the best thing ever, after 8 and that crap. But, now?

I'm liking 10. I've dumped a few things, Cortana, and I don't really like the updates, although now, they only reboot once in awhile...

It was twice a week for a minute!

I will hold out, on this box, my UltraBook, for a bit. If 10 gets a new build, outside the beta builds, that does well, I'll do it then. If not, I'll wait until the deadline.

I just jumped on win8.1 from 7, so I can play bf4 without issues.It's been amazing with a few tweaks.

I will give 10 a shot down the road again.

its not bad as people think. For people who got used to windows 7 (like my wife lol). They hate windows 8,8.1 and 10. Been using windows 8, 8.1 and now 10. Also sign up for insider builds and it was ok.

Been using 10 since beta was first released, all 4 of my pc's now run it. I love 10 almost as much as 7 but the fact that it was free is the icing on the cake

and once you can use 7/8.1 keys to reinstall on the retail version I will be reformatting my son's PC as it has some performance issues, nothing a reformat won't fix. (five year old tend to mess things up sometimes lol)

Been using the insider preview on my main rig (intel) for awhile now. Been having driver problems with my keyboard and mice but the new TH_2 update (Build 10586.0) that came out a few days ago finally fixed it. It does still have annoying bugs though, like for the last two to three prior build every time I would install a new update it would uninstall GPU-Z and CPU-Z and HWMonitor.

Well so far Windows 10 is good I did not lose any of my previously installed stuff on here. Windows 10 doesn't seem to boot as fast as the older version.

That it doesn't. Part of the reason, for alot of people, is because FastBoot doesn't seem to do anything except cause it to "hang" on boot.

I had to eliminate most of the problem by eliminating thehiberfil file, and then turning all power-saving options off in both Winws AND in BIOS. The BIOS trick is what finally enabled it to start/restart without me needing to "hard restart" it. So, now it takes about 5 seconds longer to boot. No big deal at all.
