Install Limit reached

I get the Install Limit reached error on my Crysis Warhead copy that I bought on steam.. Securerom is so awesome I'm such a pirate, I don't deserve to play this game.

Will the Steam version have an activation limit?

The Steam version of Crysis Warhead has the same activation limit as the retail version of 5 activations. The Steam version of Crysis Wars will only require authentication upon installation just like the retail product.

thats why I find out what games have securom now and just walk right by em, cause at this point its not even buying games anymore, its renting, and the securom crap dosen't do shiet to piracy, cause every securom game gets cracked.

They are basically saying you cant play the game.

Mind you every game I buy with securerom, I just by pass the security, not for activation but so I dont have to get the disc out every time.

Not exactly helping themselves with the piracy issue. Not even MS has activation limits.

Guess I wont be buying this game then, cus I format my PC every other month or so.

Threatening to sue is the best remedy in things lke this, otherwise you get the runaround with each person trying to place blame on the other.

I found this out with my problem with securom a while ago but sometimes when this happens even if you do get it to install your cd key is dead because the G4WL server records the installs and blocks you making your cd key invalid.

I'd scream bloody murder if this happens to me, I have a legit copy of warhead too... beginning to wish I just downloaded an cracked it.

Agree with Ketxxx, I'd be screaming and throughing as many Act and Laws as I could at them.
You have legally payed for the game and they still dont want you to play it?

They are adding all this security to try and prevent piracy but its what is causing it!

At least when your acitvation limit runs out on MS products you can phone activate. I thought steam was supposed to the answer to security, but as long as you are logged in they know its you. FFS, stupid publishers.

I was gonna buy Warhead soon but after seeing this, I may as well not bother (if you catch my drift).
