I love my loud computer :D The louder it is, the more powerful it sounds imo!

:wtf: My computer is so loud I had to put another loud computer on my left side to balance it out. :p Left side is 58db, right side is 55db from about a foot away.

Its not entirely silent, yet it doesn't classify as nosiy. For nine 120mm fans it is pretty silent lol.

Lol, both my rigs are pretty decent overall, especially since I replaced my GTX's stock cooling with the AC Accellero Xtreme cooler. It's not whisper quiet, but silent enough to not be annoying when we're watching a movie or hulu, I rarely use a TV anymore, don't feel the need for an HTPC so our rigs are our entertainment centers too.

C'mon dude, you can make a better thread than this! :wtf:
+1

:toast:

Pretty quiet most of the time. When I game though I jack up the card fan to like 90% so it's quite loud then.

Only thing I ever hear is the crappy hard drive mowing lawn, blowing hair, and banging a buffalo all at once.

a little bit noisy and very flashy with its HD active led

My workshop has 2 i7's in it, with several high speed Yate Loons running on the rad etc, and I use tech benches, so there is no case to filter the noise. It's damn loud!

mine is so so, id rather it be audible and cool than silent and toasty :toast: cooling FTW!!! :D

My computer is super quite! Just a very low hum that can be heard unless your right next to it. My computer is in my bedroom and I often leave it on over night so its very important to me that it runs as quite as possible so I can sleep.

The only loud on my rig is my reference design graphics card. It's like a mini vacuum cleaner.

it depends lol... during the day, its near silent... when i get up at night to take a piss, i sometimes walk by it and think ... "damn... that sh*t is loud"

pretty damn quiet, then again it's god LC and no fan over 1000RPM. Cooling is so so, still better then air. Pump is the loudest thing in the system.

it's quiet enough. there's a hum to it, but it's not annoying. sometimes I have to check the power/harddrive LED to see if the computer is on.

Yup!! ...I have my fans running @100% when folding and additional cooling fans on them as well, also there is the water pump and rad fans as well, so it is damned loud with all 4 rigs going at the one time.

Had to move some of the pc's to the attic as the wife could not sleep with the noise :(

Tell the woman to buy some earplugs!

My computer would be quiet if it weren't for that f*cking 40mm fan I have to use to keep the NB cool!!!
120mm fan in back and PSU, 92mm low RPM on the CPU, 80mm almost silent fan on my gcard, and a 40mm fan to ruin it all. :(

i think mine is and i hate it. It almost makes me go crazy sometimes. :banghead: i always have music or something on because i can't stand it.I even have all the fans on low and its too much but i will be changing that soon.new fans and heatsink(s)

I prefer my PC to be silent or near silent.

My main rig is alittle loud but it sounds like a professional system you know what I mean? Rig #2 is silent, can barely hear it. I like it like that cause it's in my bedroom. But it doesn't matter cause like in most Asian places you need to have your A/C running so you can't hear it anyways.

well mines is moderate not to loud but the graphics card is loud quiet hum from the rest nothing noticeable

My computer used to sound like a vacuum cleaner but I took out all the optional fans and got the controller working on the stock fans and now it's just a quiet humm

A Loud PC is a good PC loud means the fans are running and doing their job, which is cooling the system a "silent" PC is an overheated PC unless you have everything watercooled. Oddly enough the loudest fan in my system is the fan built into the cooler on my "Silent Efficiency" Videocard's cooler, which isn't very silent when it's spinning at 3750 rpm (100%).
