Think of a decent PSU as an insurance policy. It's worth finding the money for a good one and enjoying the piece of mind that it brings. Borrow the money if you have to, but do it!

Look, it even applies to me and that awesome Corsair HX850 v1 that's in my system. It got amazing reviews at the time, but it's almost 10 years old now, so the components must have aged and it would be prudent for me to change it. The difference here is that if it dies, the quality construction and built-in fail-safes are unlikely to let it take out the rest of my PC with it. Still, it's not a guarantee.
