Can't beat it at $57. I was going to go for faster ram, considering the prices, but my current kit has the same frequency and timings. Also the clock speed doesn't make too much difference on an intel build.

One kit per generation is enough.
16GB is still gaming standard, depend on platform 2x8 or 4x4GB.

Next time I will take Dominator Platinum as well, tradition from DDR3 will continue except if customers start to complain on quality.
For now they didn't.

Thankfully I'll be using them but for Crunching DDR3 systems will be upgraded to the max they can be just because prices are cheap and I've only got 8Gb in currently which is a little low for Crunching it seems (running Linux as well) But hey, no rush so no worry

I paid $99 for Corsair Vengeance LPS 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000MHz (PC4 24000) from Newegg back in Nov 2015 and I thought I was getting a good deal because that price was after a $30 Black Friday Promo discount. Today, that same RAM at Newegg is $69.99. I've been happy with my current 16GB and I know I don't "need" 32GB, but at that price, I might just have to pull the trigger.

Newegg sucks, I waited 2 weeks for PCIE wifi pigtails. Maybe they were good 10 years ago, but not anymore with all the other options. I guess living 20 minutes from a Micro Center has spoiled me.

Not only ASUS, many boards GIGABYTE, ASRock..., but Crosshair is one of them.

But if you google Intel PCI-E 4.0 instead information when company plan to jump to reality from past you get excuses, Gamers no benefits from PCI-E 4.0. Etc...
