Just got a new GPU, EVGA 560 Ti 448 Ultra, what temps to expect?

I got it off Ebay for $150, going to replace the thermal paste and clean the dust on the heatsink, just curious what temps I should expect?

80C full load. Don't worry it won't hurt it.

thank you, this is still disappointing, I wanted a really cool card so my room doesn't get hot when I game. oh well, I just hope the fan doesn't get super loud.

They aren't hot cards. Just misconstrued as hot as the delta on most of the coolers are pretty good.

I just meant hot as in 80 Celsius being thrown into the air when I game, I understand the card can handle 80-85 Celsius just fine, I just want a cooler card so my room doesn't get hot. Might have to invest in an Arctic Accelero product.

Your card will produce exactly the same amount of heat. The better cooler will just remove it faster, so temps will be lower, but you wont see any difference in "room heating" terms.

The tdp (in watt) is what you're talking about, not the gpu temp.

A gts 450 will not heat a room as fast as a gtx 580, even if both gpus are at 80 C.

i have my machine next to the window so it exhausts outside, obviously that can be impractical for some, but beleive me it helps if you can do it
