Lian-Li Industrial Co., Ltd. will be attending Computex Taipei 2012 from June 5 to June 9, 2012 in Taipei, Taiwan. Lian Li invites and welcomes all distributors, system integrators, media, and technology enthusiasts to visit their booth (#J1009a at Nangang Exhibition Hall 1F) and get a hands-on preview of the new line before they enter the market later this year.

Special Edition Moving Cases
This year at Computex Lian Li will be showcasing two moving cases. The eye-catching CK-101 resembles a traditional steam engine train and will be moving up and down the tracks at the Lian Li booth. While the CK-101 even has smoke coming out of the exhaust, it is not just a model. The CK-101 supports 3.5" and 2.5" HDDs, a slim ODD, and USB 3.0.

Additionally, the SUV-esque PC-Q15 adds an automotive touch to Lian Li's theme this year. This PC-Q15, which is specially designed for Computex, will be driving around in loops at Lian Li's booth. Come see for yourself these crowd-gathering moving chassis.

New Line of Brushed Aluminum Chassis
Besides the moving chassis, Lian Li will be displaying four new cases that have yet to be released to the market. The displayed line will feature many innovative features and designs, including:
  • A chassis designed for extreme noise reduction that has no visible vents - only a carefully calculated sized intake vent underneath the chassis.
  • A server level chassis that can hold an HPTX motherboard with ease and has space to hold up to twenty 3.5" HDDs.
  • An upgrade of the PC-X2000F, which holds an EATX motherboard with lots of tool-less features and hotswap capabilities.
  • A skinny ATX chassis with lots of storage potential that can hold VGA cards up to 370mm in length.
See and Touch All Models
In addition to these highlighted products Lian Li will be displaying their full line of mini, mid, and full tower elegant brushed aluminum chassis with the high quality build and features that are to be expected from Lian Li.

Lancool's Latest Steel Chassis
Constructed with steel rather than aluminum, Lancool's chassis will be on display at Lian Li's booth. Come see for yourself these more mainstream-level steel chassis manufactured by Lian Li.

Custom OEM Manufacturing Requests Welcome
With 20 years of manufacturing experience for both system integrators and OEM/ODM clients, Lian Li is proud to be the only manufacturer in Taiwan able to provide quality aluminum workmanship and design. A rich history of cooperating with several of the world's top system integrators gives Lian Li the edge when it comes to understanding the needs of OEM/ODM and SI customers. April 1st was 2 months ago... On a second note, i want a panda shaped PC case...

Here are some ideas of what is really needed in a computer case:

A bottle opener
A 12v cigarette lighter
An ice cube maker
A sex toy (depends on the user of course)
An LCD screen that displays the temperature outside your house

My job here is done.

what about not just a ice cube maker, but a whole built-in refrigerator?
then a built-in A/C controller for your house.
also need to eliminate the need to get up and go to bathroom.

but anyway... the case looks just cheap and fugly as hell... if you are going to make a train case, then make it to look like a decent train, with a bit more detail because this looks like a cheap toy...

Proof that Lian Li's design team has lost their marbles. 'Most' of the design's coming out of their company for the last two years just don't make sense. Economic sense especially.

Add me for a +1 to the 12v cigarette lighter.

Best,

LC

Lets be honest here people, that right there, is freaking awesome!

so can i sue lian li when my 'moving chassis' falls off the rails and destroys everything inside of it?

So the case would be called "Going Off the Rails on a Crazy Train"?

Cool looking case but not practical.

yea .. this is not at all what i was think when i clicked on this link..

so they showed the train ... i thought it would transform into a robot with its chest being the motherboard.

But with the tran .. where the hell are all the cabled at .. they just going too drag around ? .. it just moves 1 foot forward .. 1 foot back ? ...

all that smoke .. it going too be sucked in by my fans and get crap all in my case... worst idea i have ever ... seen .. and i live in tx ..

TOP MARKS for something to grab a headline.

I like the concept of STEAM... great way to cool off your quad GPU dual CPU monster. Just let her steam out the window... and provide a limitless supply of cold water.

I want the train.

Yep, and good ones to catch some attention, for sure. There is no real practical purpose other than marketing, but I know of quite a few peopel that would be interested in such cases. They need to make a plane/helicopter one as well.

;)

Or submarine. Cool via bathtub/fishtank.

I still haven't gotten over the snail shaped one. :D

Awesome concept, a client of mine who has a collection of model trains will definitely love this case. :rockout::respect:

There are already 12v cig. lighter bay devices available. I saw one on xoxide a while ago I think.

Also, the sex toy mod has been done a lot.

This case makes no sense, but ok, it is kinda funny. I guess since Lian Li has already made a whole series of perfect cases now they can just f*ck around.

How can this train move when you have cables coming out the back of the case?
