I like that feature...something I would much rather have as an open page than getting piled up with e-mails to updated threads. If they could take azazel's idea and implement this into a ticker or something that would be a very nice feature!

Well, it would be really cool to incoprorate that into the newly replied/posted in the upper part of these forums. But, to dedicate a full page to it seems awful IMO.

I mean, if you have a TON of members all posting at the same time and your post gets overlooked, guess where it goes?

That's my only gripe, other than that it looks and is a great feature!

Firefox with Auto-Refresh extension should do the job. Even then an auto-refresh code could be added to the forums. Remember, OCN is using a bulletin board system different from ours, not vBulletin...it looks like a modified vBulletin. Maybe future releases of vB will feature a live feature.

Opera has auto-refresh built in..(I'm not a FF fan)..which is nice, but something that updates like this as a part of the page would be a good thing IMO. Doesn't have to be instant like that site, but I think something like this should totally be implemented here.

I use opera too and this feature gets quite irritating with my slow net speed. The page starts loading and suddenly refreshs so it takes almost twice the normal time to load the page. Also all the posts get marked as read once its refreshed hence loosing all track of the new posts.

That forum pulse sucks. It should only display new topics, not old ones with new posts....

Would be a nice addition. Alternatively, the UserCP/ModCP/Search Results could have auto-refresh with user defined time period in the Options.

YES!!!!!! please DO!!!! i really like it. that way i dont have to refresh all the time. i can leave TPU open in a tab and keep looking back while im looking through ebay and other sites.
