Looking for SLI motherboard

Exactly tigger, let's say I SLi my eVGA 7600GS, would you say I am just getting my money's worth.

I did the comparison and in benches 2 7600GS's ~= 8600GT 256MB.

Your opinion on that tigger please!

Maybe with cheaper cards its kinda worth it.But for bigger cards,i say no.

Sli/crossfire,has far too many problems getting it to run properly,drivers issues etc and games using it or not using it.No games have a problem with a single honking big bad card.

Well the idea behind me getting crossfire/SLI was that once my one card can't handle the load anymore (say in like a year or so) i can just pick up another card and be somewhat on the performance wagon again. I wouldn't never buy 2 cards at once. Just when performance starts to suffer.

Crossfire has way better scaling. SLi isnt worth it but Crossfire is.

Very true, but when you have a board that supports both SLi (7/6 series only) and crossfire, like say oh .... the AW9D-Max ...

..... Kinda silly not to Shadow, ehemm another reason why I want your 7600GS but .. no $$$ I had to use the extra $$ for a new burner.
