Need Bios for XFX-797A-TDB V5.0

It could be a faulty unit. That is the correct bios for it as its listed in our engineering specs (assuming they uploaded the correct file)

Several others on this forum have had my issue. The BIOS wont work unless it's a matching version 5.0 BIOS. Not sure if it has to do with memory or memory timings or what exactly. The card worked fine prior to being flashed with an improper BIOS, and I am able to flash the card just fine.

Actually it's this thread that the other people had the same issue with the v5.0 BIOS. Some users here dumped their own originals and fixed the issue but they're no longer active users. Is there no other resource that you have at XFX to obtain original BIOS instead of using TPU?

I saved my V5.0 BIOS just a couple of days ago, so i have the BIOS for FX-797A-TDF V5.0 if that helps.
I tried reflashing with my backup but i wouldn't boot, even though it is the backup i took from GPU-Z before i played around abit, i can reflash if i use my own BIOS but I'm guessing i'm using the wrong software or parameters for the flash. (atiwinflash -f -newbios -p 0 tahiti.rom)

Can anyone help with that i would be greatful, the card is completly bricked but i'll try putting a switch on and reflash it with the original firmware, if anybody can help. Otherwise if you can do with only one DVI output Gigabyte has a useful bios that works on my card just fine, the Gigabyte.HD7970.3072.121106.rom

I tried your BIOS, but it seems our model numbers don't match. I'll wait for XFXSupport to contact his thai contact and try that BIOS before I give up.
Thanks though

Yes, i have a resource, of course, but hes in Thailand until early December on holiday. Yes, i understand how terrible that sounds, but honesty counts for something. I've already emailed him requesting it from his database, ill have it then. Sorry.

I appreciate your help. Let me know when you get it from him. Thanks a ton
