Budget (including currency): 1200$ usd but can go a little bit higher
Country: USA
Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant Rust Overwatch - have a seperate pc that can do workloads
Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):
I'm very confident i can get everything retail so don't worry about that.No peripherals needed. I have a pc that's for workloads so this pc is just for gaming. 1200 is the budget but can go a little higher

Read this thread:

paying special attention to comment #6 by ThrashZone and comment #10 by HD64G concerning prioritizing GPU acquisition.

Buy your GPU first since it is the most difficult part to acquire then come back and ask about how to spend the remainder of your budget.

You should also specify if you have extra parts laying around (and which ones).

Best of luck.

Retail at MSRP? Or something close to that ? If yes then I agree, get gpu first , otherwise you’ll have to go prebuilt , crazy that prebuilts are becoming the better option nowadays.

And if you really want to go the extra mile than this cpu which is going for $30 cheaper atm than the 5600x.
