Need Help to OC CPU ...

I run Orthos 1 hr o BSOD system is stable. I also run Ventage to check stability. No problem.

Here is a CPUz screenshot :-

You might now try to OC your memory higher, but with that FSB it looks like it will be a pain to get your DDR2 800 to 1333...

Edit: One thing you could do is set your CPU multi back to 11x and lower the FSB to 266.
That way you might be able to OC your memory to DDR2 1066. Although you will likely need 2.0 volts or more on the memory to do that.

Edit: It also depends on what kinds of FSB : DRAM ratio your board allows.

What are you talking about? 1333 on ddr2 is like godly ram and very rare.

@rahulyo

Time to start tweaking FSB and raising it.

Yes it is pretty much impossible to get DDR2 to 1333.
Sorry for not stating it clearly.
It will be better if the OP includes a screenshot of what memory setting his bios allows.

Here is the memory setting :-

The one in the Bios setting is what I am looking for.
You need a camera for that one I suppose. :ohwell:
The Memory Frequency settings under the O.N.E tab.

I don't have a Cam right now thr4 i can't post a pic ...

I have some Patriot Memory Viper 800MHz XBLK DDR2 (4-4-4-12) that hit 1300MHz on the decent test boards I had on hand at the time. Never got a board strong enough to push it to 1333MHz. :( It's kind of a collectible like the old school DDR BH-5 chips.

Otherwise, definitely time for him to upgrade his RAM. He'll probably max that motherboard out getting to 400MHz Front Side Bus, but it'll haul a$$. :) DDR2 volumes have started to thin out which have made prices go up. Might want to buy soon rather than later.

Overclocking Navigator -Manual
Intel Speedstep tech - Disable
Ratio CMOS setting - x9
CPU Freqency Setting - 333
Overclock Retry Cout - 3
FSB(Bsel) to NorthBridge Latch - 1333
FSB Compesation Finetune - Disable
DRAM Frequency - 667 or 1:1 (U mean to say instead of 667 try 800 correct me if i am wrong )
Enhance Mode - Auto

Edit-
Ok done here is the CPUz screenshot :-

that looks good, 3GHz CPU and 800Mhz ram at 5-5-5-18

if that passes a few hours of testing (i suggest swapping to OCCT and using the linpack test) then all is well.

I check memset it show fsb/dram = 5:6 is it good ???

it doesnt matter. that setting is merely how you choose your ram speed.

Run OCCT linpack test but after 35-40 min get warning " CPU Is Too HOT".I think i need better cooler.

oh, sometimes OCCT turns off before its needed - its playing it safe.

disable its temperature monitoring, and watch your temps with realtemp - so long as you have 15C (or higher) left to TJmax, you're all good.

I run OCCT but get BSOD.What i do now ???

Edit:-

I also trying to rise FSB from 333 -> 340 but get BSOD ....

Pls anyone help ....

Bring your ram back down to 667 and try again.

RAM back down to 667 any Increase FSB from 333 -> 340 But get error :-

then the system is unstable, and you're going to have to try various settings (higher voltages) to try and get it stable. There is no magic setting here, you have to test various combinations yourself - and it will take time.

I am thinking to buy new CPU+Mobo. Pls tell me how is following combo :-

AMD Ph II X2 555 + Asus M4A78-EM-1394 (I choose this mobo bcoz low budget and my friend successfully unlock his X2 550 with this mobo )

Is it good ?

Or

I stick with my CPU+Mobo ?? (I don't want to invest anymore on 775 socket.)

hmm i would keep what you have. you might not get the lucky unlock CPU or it may overclock worse that what you have now. its a gamble

Can I OC my E4500 upto 3.5 GHZ ???

Is it bottleneck @3.5GHz for my HD 5850 ???

Pls guys tell me fast so i can decide what to buy New CPU or New CPU cooler ....

Edit :-

Till now I OC my E4500 up to 3.150 GHz (350X9)...
